I don’t have any suggestions but definitely keep that stylist. As someone who’s done bright colors on multiple occasions that’s some great staying power
Goldwell Elumen is amazing. My hair is red/purple and the only reason I get it refreshed as often as I do is because of the roots.
It doesn’t so much as dye the hair, it bonds to the hair so it stays longer. In fact, if you are someone that likes to change color often, it’s NOT recommended.
I’m not a stylist, and I can’t explain the technology behind it, but I’ve been using it for years with varying shades of bright red to maroon to maroon with purple.
I was certified in Elumen but it's been nearly 10 years now. It has to do with the chemical makeup using magnetization to stay within the hair, which is why you have to use Elumen-specific colour remover to get it out (normal colour remover or lightener won't work because of the magnetic properties). I'm sure there's a better way to describe this but it's been a long time, point being you're absolutely right that it's a very long-lasting product and wonderful if used by a good stylist
Thank you for posting this! I have always wondered how the rainbow dyes fade over time. This looks pretty good, especially for 4 months!
I don’t have much of a suggestion, I think I would refresh it basically the same, because that looked so good, but maybe do more of a “Lisa Frank” rainbow in front. Hot pink, orange, lime green, teal, purple.
Right? I can't believe how much color is still in there, I expected it to be half as colorful as it was in the After photo. If I thought I could get color to last this well, I'd actually consider going full rainbow, but there's no shot that my hair would still look that good 1/3 of a year later
I like this a lot and I think it would be cool to see more of the red and orange pieces pulled all the way through to give you a sunset colors effect. I know it can be hard because the purple and fuchsia want to mix with red when they rinse out, so it may be one of those things you have to do separately. I don’t know, as I am not a colorist.
Wow! This is so hard to get right and not get color bleeding onto other pieces of hair. I think pink would look great with your complexion. Check out Brad Mondo on YouTube. His color line is X mondo and is perfection. Very conditioning and highly pigmented. He also has a lot rainbow hair video. Please keep us updated!
and also that the vibrance held up for four months! as for what to do next.. maybe if you're wanting to transition to a solid or just do something slightly different, maybe go for more solid color in the sides and back but keep the rainbow colors in the front with the face framing hairs? idk, i only ever did solids on myself. i probably would rock this at least one more time since it's so pretty and lasted so long. :p i'm sure whatever you do next will rock!

I’ve been with her for a few years now - not going anywhere.
4 months? Your hair grows fast🥰 I like the purple/blue/pink/etc. mash of colors on you. Honestly any rainbow variation will look beautiful on you
It's also curled in the first photo and straight in the second, it may not have grown that much.
Bingo - I’ve only got about 2 inches of natural color grown back in
Let me believe in the magic yall 🤣🤣 but i totally see the difference. Crazy how styles alter the visible length of our hair.

I love Lisa Frank… this is a good idea.
2nd pic is so much better than I expected! You have a great stylist
She’s amazing, and she knows how things will fade out in my hair

Your hair is beautiful. Also I really like your nose. It's a really nice shape :)
Thank you! 😊
You're welcome!
Good bot.

I love watching his videos! Now that this pink stayed as well as it did, I’d like to include more.
i'm surprised the blue/green faded before the other colors.
Me too, honestly - I thought that red was coming right out.

It’s so beautiful in both photos!
Thank you!
Wow that's amazing It held up so well
Geez. My color lasts for 10 days at the most. After four months it would be completely gone.
These look great!!! What brand do you use to dye it?
I’ll ask when I go next week - I honestly don’t know
Wow its still beautiful!
I agree! Frequently get comments when I’m out.
I dont think I would recommend the full rainbow, but rather a few complimentary colors.
Given how difficult it is to make things look realistic with hair dye, I lean on abstract.
Oh shit the faded hair is super pretty!

That's truly impressive and those colors look amazing on you! Although, you do kind of look miserable in that second picture...
So I should smile more? /s
This is my resting face, and I’m pretty anyway. I don’t need to smile.
lol! Such a troll. You look awesome.
