Jynxzi mentioned that Cav is the most selfish operator when she doesn’t interrogate the attackers.

I think Fuze is the most selfish attacker.

Also Ash when she doesn’t use her breaching rounds and Doc when he doesn’t revive teammates.

  • In defense : Warden or Vigil, their gadgets only benefit themselves

In attack : Nokk or Amaru, for the same reason

Idk though cus ultimately, the point of Nokk and especially Amaru is to catch the defenders off guard and get it to a 5v4, maybe even a 5v3 early on in the round. Their abilities allow them to do so without getting insta traded. Whereas Ashe is just a 3 speed with an op gun, so people run in their with no conceal ability or quick breach ability and usually get Insta traded off their first kill which does absolutely nothing for their team.

Yoir more likely to get traded with amaru tho, especially seeing as the sound on the windows is loud

U most def r using her ability to get directly onto site 15 seconds into the round. I used to main amaru religiously, once u learn how people react to hearing the abilities sound (they come running fullsprint like u can’t zap them 0.2 seconds after ur thru the window), it’s free kills. Then u just hold ur position and wait for the 2nd idiot that thinks they have a chance peeking my G8A1

I dont use her but anyone below plat is just fully useless at using her

Nah I get what u mean bro. I don’t rlly take golds and plays into consideration when I’m talking about actual tactics. Bless them though

Yeah i dont blame you. Not saying i deserve above gold but i solo queue for every match so one game ill have people who actually know what theyre doing and the next game i have someone die to fall damage its tragic down here🙏😭

  • Fuze literally can clear enemies and their equipment out of a room, I wouldn't class that as selfish, he benefits the team greatly when used right

My friends always say i rarely ever kill someone with fuze, yeah but i destroyed a barbed wire, 2 mute jammers, a legion trap and a frost matte lol

Yeah, only noobs think Fuze is used for kills, if you get a kill. Consider it a bonus, what it's REALLY good at is flushing enemies out and clearing util

  • If youre talking about doesnt benefit the team at all but just the player using it then warden.

  • Warden is only selfish if you don’t play off your teammates. A good team knows how to distract a warden if they’re goin for heavy smoke or ying executes.

  • ace when my teammate doesn't throw a single selma charge

  • Fuze is goated vs kafe kitchen

  • Vigil easily

Maybe they could rework Vig to also cloak teammates in his vicinity?

  • Wtf r u on? Cav has huge potential of wasting the attackers time even if she doesn't interrogate. Fuze can Fuze above to blow up anything on Outside walls or just the obj in general. And I've never seen an ash not use their breaching rounds.

Vigil is by far the MOST selfish op in the entire game, always roaming with the bos g just to get domed on...

  • Ubisoft devs as an op would win in a heartbeat

you mean the executives and investors, the devs are the only reason the game is as good as it is.

Theres even devs calling bull on this whole ordeal cause the exploit was known about FOR 2 WEEKS and they sat there waiting for it to happen, no warning from them. Did mongo warn ubisoft? yes.. several times

  • The majority of the ops in r6 fit in the selfish category based on that reasoning, but here’s my thoughts anyways:

Pulse is selfish if he doesn’t relay info gathered with his cardiac sensor and ends up killed trying to grab an easy target.

Glad is selfish because his util only affects him and, again, lack of communication from the player can make him unhelpful.

Sledge can be selfish if he doesn’t use his hammer for anything other than his entry.

Brava is selfish when the user only hacks the traps that affect themselves.

Tachanka’s util really only helps him, so I’d consider that selfish too, based on the standard by which we’re considering an operator to be selfish.

You can make a similar case for almost all the ops using the same reasoning Jynxzi does, but I’d argue almost no operators are truly self-serving, only the players are
