I have seen this game grow up and see all the changes it went through.
Not enjoying each change I must admit most of them were for the best. And that variaty of gameplay is also responsible for the time I spent on the it.
I'm in a four stack at the moment, only cool players. And we are grinding the ranks.
Regarding the cheaters, you can always blame UBI, but in the end it only takes a peace of shit to cheat.
I played those thousand hours without cheating and I only blame myself when I loose.

I have played since the beta, through many stacks, through op health, op blackbeard, op lion. this game is special. anyone who says otherwise has never been in a clutch situation. this dwarves cs, tarkov, any there tactical shooter. siege makes your heart race and although I do agree that this is a large amount of time.
Steam counts AFK/waiting in que hours just so you know. I also have 8k+ hours on steam, but Uplay (which counts only in-game time) shows 2962hrs and this is after I dropped the steam version in 2020 to play exclusively the Uplay version to avoid potential overlay issues.
Also game has been out 10 years, so it's not that insane.
Can confirm, as someone with nearly 7k hrs myself there's a loooot of waiting in queue, waiting for friends, leaving the game open while watching videos etc

its dead. but somehow the streamers and youtubers r keeping it alive. the amount of cheaters in high ranked lobbies is huge. bug and glitches. network issue. dsync. packet loss. rubberbanding. hit reg. this game has everything that a multiplayer competitive game shouldn't.
