So I'm going through some of my more recent rat photos and I wanted to reshare these gems lol - these were taken when Chickpea was first meeting my "difficult" girls, ie the ones who don't intro super well to new rats. Chickpea had a very different method of dealing with the older girls than her sister - while Feta was very mild mannered and tried to be ultra respectful and polite, Chickpea did the exact opposite, being very pushy and trying to force her way into their good graces! None of the older girls were quite sure what to think lol, but they did eventually come around and now they very much like their younger buddies.

Anyways I think these photos are quite the funny snapshot of rat behavior - Chickpea really is a spitfire and the poor older girls weren't sure what hit them!
Chickpea will always look like she is either Zorro or has glasses to me. It’s just such a unique pattern around her eyes you know.
