Bravery shroom: the closer zombies get to it, the faster the rate of fire. (75 sun? Short cooldown.) having a cheaper upgraded plant option for early game so that you could build up heavy costing defenses later on could be interesting.
Maybe four chompera become a giga chomper or something that is four x four tiles wide and can eat even a gargantuar and damage a giga gargantuar. But is also hella expensive
Palmbrella Queen is the ultimate anti-air, not only defending bungee zombies and launching basket balls back at the zombies, but it also knocks pogo zombies and pole vaulting zombies back and launches flying imps into the stratosphere.
Abilities laid out:
-Defeats bungee zombies
-Launches basket balls at zombies rather than just stopping them
-Knocks jumping Pogo Zombies back 1 tile
-Knocks jumping pole vaulters back 1 tile
-Defeats thrown imps
I hope the heavy price tag keeps it from being op, also horrendous recharge like all evo plants.
Shroomlight is a calm fellow, she doesn't like being out in the open. She rather keeps the plants company and supports them with her healing light and soothing vibes. Beware that all types of mushrooms, including shroomlight, get drowsy during the day.
Abilities laid out:
-Slightly heals plants in a 3×3 around it every few seconds (about 50 HP every second)
-Increases mushroom attack speed in a 3×3 area by 5%
Shroomlight is a plant that could form entirely new strategies. Due to her healing effect, walls won't break all the time (only if you give her time to heal inbetween zombie attacks) and her 3×3 attack buff effect could potentially stack up to 40% if you completely surround a mushroom (bad idea tho). In regular scenarios, the buff would only stack between 10-15% (1 row) and 20-30% (2 rows). So she could make shroom strategies viable or at least better for daytime levels. I'm thinking if it would also be a good addition to have her wake shrooms in a 3×3 area for as long as she is placed (and awake herself) there but idk if that'd make her too op so I'm just gonna ask y'all.
Sunshroom, basically do what they did for twin sun, but give him 2 buddy's and if already fully grown, don't need to wory about it restarting the growth process
I'd give one to garlic called 'rotten garlic' which will be able to make even gargantuars switch lanes by the smell (to balance, the rotten garlic has a 2 tile 1 pierce projectile that makes the zombies gag at the smell but it is rapid shot for low damage)Â

Regular peashooter is useless when you get any new damage dealer
Potato mine: make it like primal potato mine, make it cost 50 sun to upgrade
Snow pea: make each consecutive shot slow zombies more and more, give it a little splash
Chomper: eats up to 3 zombies, digestion time cut in half, has more health than a normal plant
Puff shroom: idk more damage or something
Sun shroom: make it produce 100 sun, and can grow to produce up to 150
Hypno shroom: hypnotizes on contact so it can hypno gargs, zombonis, pogo, etc
Scaredy shroom: make it into bravery shroom, it shoots faster the closer a zombie is to it.
Ice shroom: does a brown coats worth of health to anything it freezes, and double freeze and slow time
Doom shroom: screen wipe
Lily pad: make it have a water Lily on top of it that buffs plants attack speed if it’s placed on top of it
Squash: hops down the lane like rhubarbarian
Threepeater: shoots 3 peas per lane
Tangle kelp: can drag down an unlimited number of zombies for 30 seconds
Torchwood: pvz2 Torchwood plant food
Plantern: lights up the whole stage and does small tick damage to anything in its light radius
Cactus: shoots spikes in any direction
Split pea: threepeater on both sides, back is a repeater that shoots in 3 lanes
Starfruit: shoots in all directions, with the stars rotating as it moves across the screen
Pumpkin: health of a tallnut and protects anything inside of it from instant kills
Cabbage pult: shoots flaming cabbages at twice the rate, and targets the closest zombie in any of the lanes adjacent to it as well
Flower pot: cant be destroyed, zombies don’t talk about it
Garlic: poisons zombies that eat it, ignoring armor like nightcap from pvz2
Umbrella leaf: is always extended as a shield for anything in a 3x3 radius, kind of acting like an infinut plant food
