Well it's still streaming so I am not sure... Some of the bigger stories will be reposted to https://www.youtube.com/@PrivacyGuidesShorts if you want to read the titles there in a few days :)
Why can't PrivacyGuides use a streaming platform other than YouTube? I can't watch any of the video because they're now being so strict about making me sign in.
You’re not wrong at all. China and Russia have invested billions in disinformation campaigns to destabilize western countries, there is plenty of evidence of that being the case. I’m not citing but I believe this is covered in a GEC special report, CEPA and EEAS and others.
That being said, this is kind of just whataboutism. Eastern countries have done tremendous damage to democracies which has pushed things in this direction, sure but that does not negate problematic western action now.
A lot of recent deanonymizing actions by western countries are likely in part to deal with the ensuing issue of ai impersonation, along with other things like disinformation (which does directly relate), among other rationale but much of these moves seem to be poorly thought out and incredibly harmful to the free and open web and privacy and liberty in general.
No one would argue that Russia or China are horrendous on privacy and actively pushing the west in this direction to some extent but that doesn’t make the recent actions of western countries good. Not saying you are stating as much but there might be an implication which is likely why your comment received some pushback.
I hate livestreams. So much wasted time.
TL;DW?
(Edit) I really wish transcripts or summaries of these were posted. I usually can’t watch live streams or recaps.

Just post the transcript please.

I'm not sure if either of these are useful for watching the livestreams in real time, but Privacy Guides does offer alternatives to youtube:

i use youtube without signing in, haven't faced many issues besides occasional buffering delays in firefox+ubo.
As if the East hasn't been spamming disinformation for the past decade...
