Hi looking for advice from anyone who experienced PPROM. At 25 and 5 days my waters broke. I'm now in hospital and very nervous. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
I think there was a lady who posted here who had this happen to her last year. If I remember, she stayed in hospital for a while and then had a section. Might be worth searching PROMM on the thread. You’re in the best place and I’m sure everything will be ok x
I think this was me! Waters broke at 25 weeks, stayed in hospital until I had an emergency section at 35 weeks. Baby girl born completely healthy zero issues x
There's a creator on tiktok Tina&co, from up north, and she had this I believe. Perhaps even earlier. And her son just turned 1! At the time she posted a lot about it if you have a look and scroll back maybe. Hope you're ok - you're in the best place for now :)
Hey! I also had PPROM, and at the same gestation 25+5. I stayed in hospital until she was born at 35 weeks! Have you been given steroids and antibiotics? How long since waters broke and have they fully gone? What hospital are you in? I was in the Rotunda which has the best NICU xx
ETA- actually mine broke at 25 weeks, just had a rethink. This was last July and baby born in sep! There is a lot they can do now for PPROM and a lot better outcomes than years ago x
