And if so, what symptoms did you have/what DPO did you start feeling different?
I'm 8DPO today and had my husband hide the tests this cycle so I wouldn't drive myself demented again 😂 (it's actually helped hugely) but, as I get closer to testing, I can't help but wonder if I'd feel pregnant before I confirmed I was.
Yea my boobs had an immediate change they felt heavy and tender when I was around 3 weeks post ovulation
This seems to be the most common indication! Amazing how our bodies can react physically so quickly
I felt no different at all! Had zero symptoms until around 7/8 weeks.
For me not at all! I’m 14+3 now and the only symptoms I’ve ever had are being really tired and sore boobs.
I know I’ve been very lucky but I was a bit anxious until I had my booking appointment and scan a few weeks ago
Wishing you the best of luck!
Thank you so much! I hope you are feeling well ❤️
Thank you! I’m feeling great and am so so excited ❤️
It took 4 rounds of IVF to get here so I was definitely analysing every twinge but I honestly have had very little symptoms, especially early pregnancy. On the other hand both of my sisters has terrible morning sickness!
Try not to stress too much, everyone is different and no symptoms yet doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant!
My boobs never hurt for periods but they were really sore for days and then I started having cramps but they felt really weird.
Tested positive 5 days later. I was 14 days exactly DPO.
No other symptoms until 6.5 weeks when the nausea that has not stopped started.
The boobs seem to be a dead giveaway! My friend said the exact same thing and it is what prompted her to test early as she said it was such a strange feeling! Sorry to hear you've had bad nausea, hopefully it abates soon for you!
Crazy vivid dreams! Got a negative on 8 dpo and faint positive on 10 dpo. She's now 8 months old!
Yes we were away and the whole ride to the airport on the way home and on the flight I was complaining I felt sick and like I was going to throw up. My husband said I was pregnant and I said no we had only just started trying. I got an early pregnancy test when I got home and it was positive. I was only like 3 weeks pregnant. Sickness didn't go away the whole pregnancy.
I didn’t think I was pregnant I was tracking my cycle after coming off my coil and it seemed like my period was coming back to being monthly (before they were like 3 months). I wasn’t eating much, I was feeling full pretty quick and couldn’t finish a fizzy drink which I would normally as I don’t drink tea or coffee, I was napping after work and I felt very cold. I was thinking I was coming down with the flu. Anyways my period tracking app said I was ovulating which I was thinking I should be getting my period so I was doing a ovulation test and thought may as well do a pregnancy test too (I had stock up on them as we were planning on trying in 2026), but was pregnant in October 2025
I had a feeling but there was nothing physical I could put my finger on. I just knew my body felt different. I did have loads of pressure/cramping early on with both my babies though. The first time I assumed it was my period on the way 😂
This is what I would expect just by how in-tune I've become with my body since starting this process but I am equally trying not to symptom spot as I'm on progesterone each cycle due to two previous chemical pregnancies and it totally mimics preg/period symptoms. I guess we will find out either way this weekend or early next week 😬😂
It’s so hard to know! Best of luck with the testing 🤞
My boobs! They got pretty sore and sensitive which was never a thing for me before.
Did it prompt you to test or did you wait it out?! I always thought I was a super patient person until it came to this!!
I had promised myself I would wait until at least 10 days dpo so I held off. Nothing tests patience quite like having to wait to do a test, it's so hard to think of anything else!
Oh meet your sister! After last month I just got my husband to take them and he's under strict instructions not to give them to me until at least 10DPO. I can't be trusted it would seem 😂
Haha it's for the best, otherwise every little potential symptom would have you testing. I swear I was imagining symptoms too 😅
Sorry to be vulgar but I have very weird poos when I'm in the first month of pregnancy, so I knew 😂
😂 Those hormones know how to make themselves known!!
Nope only got symptoms two weeks after finding out
That's so interesting and kind of what prompted my question tbh, like it's such a monumental thing that I was thinking today that surely I'd feel something but, with most people not knowing until they are late, it makes sense that the vast majority don't get symptoms until well after ovulation! Thanks for replying ❤️
And my symptom was tiredness. I never got nausea. But pregnancy is alot harder than I expected. I'm 26 weeks now and even though I'm not as tired as first trimester I didn't get a second trimester boost like I hoped.
I had zero symptoms other than my missed period for the first few weeks but I just knew I was pregnant before I took a test or missed my period. This was after many months of symptoms spotting and obsessive testing while TTC so even though I had a feeling I was pregnant, I was still in total shock 😅
My Apple Watch told me my respiratory rate was out of control 😂 my husband said I was snoring the night before (I never usually do), I think 12DPO and I was craving mints. I got dizzy spells a lot from then on too during the night. I don’t really test I just wait for my watch to tell me now lol
I had sore boobs with my miscarriages (not that it's a sign of miscarriage) but not with my successful pregnancy where I had no symptoms! Nausea at 7 weeks but that went away and came back which Google told me was a very bad sign but was fine. She's 1 now!
I had HG both pregnancies and was sick before I got a positive 🥲 it’s how I knew I was expecting my 2nd so early
Ugh you poor thing, that's so rough 😕
Yep but really only because I was away at a conference and didn't want to test for a few more days until I was home again! I did a test that came out negative very early on (maybe 9 or 10 DPO?) then went to the conference at 12 DPO. The evening before, I cried because I ate too much takeaway, and my husband and I both became suspicious 😂 By 13 DPO I was pretty sure I was pregnant as I was feeling a deep exhaustion beyond what seemed normal. 14 DPO I was sure - my nipples started to darken and I had to leave in the middle of a paper because I was feeling short of breath and nauseous. Tested positive when I got home that night!
Omg you had the full book thrown at you, you poor thing!
Oh lol yeah, first trimester ended up being brutal with nausea and nipple pain 😂
Yes, to the extent that I didn’t even need to take a pregnancy test, I just knew. Of course every month I would symptom spot and wonder if I was but when I actually was pregnant it was unmistakable. The main thing was a pulling sensation in my uterus.
I was super thirsty, had mild food aversions and some cramping before I tested. I didn’t pay any heed to them because every previous cycle I had convinced myself that any twinge in my body meant I was pregnant 🤣
I was randomly a little nauseous on 10DPO and had sworn to myself that I wasn't going to test that early. It was my 11th cycle trying and I was pretty disenfranchised and was determined not to get my hopes up. A vague whiff of nausea and my resolve broke 😅 interestingly, I'd a very early loss a few months prior and tested at 13dpo out of excitement and had zero symptoms to prompt the test. I also had higher hgc at that point in time than I did in my pregnancy that went to term. No further nausea in my successful pregnancy after that. These things are funny.
I tested positive at 11DPO. My main symptom at the time was that I felt like a freaking furnace. I was also tired and had sore boobs (which I don't normally get ahead of my period).
I didn’t have any physical symptoms until after my pos test at 10 DPO but at 6 DPO I went for a walk and when I returned I had left the key in the front door which is something I never do and I thought hmmm maybe?
It’s not that I felt pregnant per se, but I had a distinct type of boob pain that I now associate with pregnancy!
My first pregnancy (unsuccessful) I had this horrible boob pain ahead of my positive, I do usually have some sensitivity ahead of my period but this was a burning pain. When I then became pregnant with my current pregnancy, I knew I was pregnant before I even tested positive because that very distinct, burning boob pain came back.
Other than that pain, I wouldn’t have known. I’ve never had that spooky feeling where you just know, and if I hadn’t had the first pregnancy before this one I wouldn’t have known about the boob pain!
Not one symptom, I was on holiday, drinking and dancing every night the week before I realised I was late.
Yes, I’d weird pinchy feelings low down in my abdomen area from the day after ovulation along with a weird taste in my mouth. This was at 2DPO and I know it was too early for implantation but I never had any of those symptoms in any other cycle. My mouth was also as dry as the Sahara desert, and on 4 DPO my smart watch alerted me that my metrics were out of my usual zones. At 7DPO I said to my husband this is the most bloated I’ve ever been and I had a weird pouch near the bottom of my stomach I’d never seen before. On 8DPO I got the first faint positive. I know anything before 7-8 DPO is supposed to be too early but my ovulation dates were bang on as I was tracking like a maniac and I never had any of those symptoms any other cycles!
It's amazing how we can notice these minute changes isn't it! Yesterday at 7DPO I had sporadic pinching low in my tummy and a weird sensation of pressure on my cervix (literally no other way to describe it 😂) and then by evening I was massively bloated low down and had quite an upset tummy. I seem ok today bar the odd pinching/electrical sensation again so I'm like...maybe?
Similarly to you my Ultrahuman ring has asked me everyday since 5DPO if I have a fever as the overnight skin temp has just trended significantly upwards since ovulation and looks like a lovely set of stairs where usually it's super erratic altho elevated post ovulation. BBT is similar.
Thanks for the insight and best of luck with your pregnancy!
Sending you all the baby dust for a positive test! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Thank you! ❤️
I knew at 3 days post ovulation because my husband was cooking eggs and all I could smell was seasame oil (we didn't have any seasame oil in the house) I couldn't even eat the eggs the smell was so strong. They just smelled like normal fried eggs to my husband. I googled it and it can be a sign of early pregnancy. I'm 32 weeks now!
That's incredible! Best of luck for the next few weeks, hope you are feeling good!
I knew before my period was late. Instantly veiny boobs, metallic taste in my mouth and coffee started to smell weird. Mad Ted!
