A long time friend of mine recently started working at a prison.
I asked him if the father of someone we knew was still in there and he messaged me earlier to tell me yes, and also that 'that local couple who abused and MOLESTED their kids are here, those pieces of fucking evil shits!'
He voted for Trump...
He also was molested as a toddler by his grandfather...
What bill do they think is going to help them next year? Do they think a bunch of bills just automatically go into effect and give them money in 2026??
I can only think of a couple of “bailouts” in the last… 50 years or so. And the one under Trump before was because of actions Trump did himself. The others in my memory weren’t a direct result of specific presidential action. Housing crisis bailout and the 1990(?) S&L bailout. I might be misremembering those though. Trump seems to be singularly bad at anything involving management or executive functions beyond self-dealing.
