The way these people write genuinely makes me wonder how they're legally allowed to live independently. I'm not being flippant, as a college student I worked with adults with intellectual/neurodevelopmental disabilities (everyone deserves to get out in the world and have new experiences, some people just need support to do so safely) and one of my favourite clients wrote like this.
Between our meetings she would write to me on Facebook Messenger and her messages were all just like this. She was one of the more independent adults I worked with, but still lived with a full time caretaker and did not have sufficient mental capacity to handle her own finances. So when I see things like this, I am genuinely concerned that there isn't someone monitoring these people's internet usage.
I used to feel bad for them but I don't care after the Capitol riot. It's dumb as hell to be scammed when one has access to wi-fi. It's not like his mountain of scams haven't been adjudicated. He repeats the exact same scams over and over.
And, even if they even paused one second and actually paid attention...they would know. What could possibly be benevolent about closing the Consumer Fraud Bureau? Removing Biden's Rx price caps? Rolling back civil rights?
Begging like a baby for a Nobel Peace Prize while trying to stoke a civil war, bypassing Congress to kill brown people, deporting people without Due Process, abandoning Afghani refugees and injured children in Gaza, etc..
