Very nice, looks great. Never depend on glaze for âwaterproofing', if your clay is vitrified itâs safe even without glaze. I love that crackle look
I'd throw some oil in there and set it on a paper towel or tell the person I'm giving it to that they should. Oil can damage countertop surfaces if it sits. If it doesn't seep out, it's fine. What I'm telling you has nothing to do with the glaze, just to be sure that the clay vitrified in the firing I like the crackle effect a lot.
