i’ve been trying to be more intentional about noticing small good things instead of waiting for big wins.

Lately, I write down one good thing from the day before I go to sleep. Nothing deep — sometimes it’s just good food or a nice conversation.

It hasn’t fixed everything, but it’s made my days feel lighter and easier to appreciate.

  • I used to be a very negative person, as in i always saw the problems instead of focusing on the positive outcomes. It has ruined friendships and relationships.

    But I also started doing something akin to this. Instead of viewing everything that can go wrong I focus on everything that can be right and it has slowly transformed me.

    I'm still negative sometimes but I become more aware that I am and I can influence my behavior.

    And you are right, life is way easier when you don't create problems where they don't have to be.
