Yes, I'm a Paleo. Yes, I support Israel. Yes, we exist.

  • This shit sucks

    Care to elaborate?

Well i absolutely hate conservativism, authoritarianism, and i very much dislike israel and russia

I'll practice good faith and assume you mean you hate the ideology, not the person.

In that case, let me present my arguments for each of these stances:

Conservatism. Traditions are not just obstacles to progress, they're handrails that ensure the stability and possibility of democratic governance. Cultures are, as a rule, dogmatic, pressuring people to conform to a set of fashionable ideas. Conservatism, conforming to old ideas, is necessary to counter majoritarianism, the consequences of which include: an endless critique of the past, thus, a lack of patriotism and, ultimately, rootlessness, unstable progress, characterized by beneficial changes being overturned the instant they are no longer hyped, and the increased influence of the wealthy against the national will, for they have undue influence over the media and, thus, over popular opinion.

Authoritarianism. Sometimes, illegitimate force is necessary for order. I support democracy, so I'm not truly authoritarian, but I support occasional exceptions to the rule of law. This is a crucial counter-balance to my conservatism, speeding up progress rather than slowing it down. If we don't do everything we can to reestablish order when it's threatened, then we risk chaos—rape, murder, theft, the Hobbesian war of all against all. Such circumstances are at least as bad as any tyranny, and far worse than the rule of a noble and Christian Caesar, which would have few downsides. Not only is authoritarianism justified against anarchy, but sometimes against dysfunctional democracy, which risks turning into oligarchy or anarchy. Oligarchy and tyranny are, on average, similarly bad, but only tyranny has the potential to support the people, whereas oligarchy is necessarily opposed to the national will.

Regarding Israel and Russia, I'll go into more detail regarding them later, or in other comments.

  • wrong on both fronts

  • "I love killing Ukrainian and Palestinian children" ahhh post

  • Why fucking support Israel? Why would a Christian support a genocide for a Jewish supremacist state that literally attacks Christian churches and assaults people who wear crosses on the streets?

First of all, that's an antisemitic generalization, characteristic of Neo-Nazis who imagine that Jews in general have some sort of rabid hatred for the West and Christianity. Israel is mostly very open to Christians, with Jerusalem in particular being a multicultural and multi-faith city.

I support Israel, at least as far as sympathy goes, for I regard it as a similar country to early America (democratic, founded as a colony by followers of a religion persecuted in Europe). Further, I agree with the cause of a Jewish nation as a way of preventing antisemitism. Finally, I think that Israel's actions leading up to and following October 7th were all justified by a realist framework.

Please ask questions if you have any more.

What do you mean? I have nothing against Judaism, I just hate supremacist ideologies, and if you think that my criticism of Jewish supremacy extends to the Jewish people, you are the one making generalizations. The State of Israel IS Jewish supremacist and by consequence anti-Christian and it is very clear based on their actions

It's not an isolated case, and if necessary, I would be happy to continue. And I hope that as a Christian you disagree with religious supremacy not only because of the safety of your fellow brothers and sisters but also because your religion is based on a history of religious persecution and you should agree that no one should be condemned for their beliefs again as christ once was.

On top of that Israel is not democratic as it has a system of secondary citizenship for non Jewish citizens (Called non-national cizenship) and it prevents a great part of its population to have political rights.

These incidents are rare and highly sensationalized. Officially, Israel protects Christians and religious freedom in general, with Christians having significant representation in their government. Officially, there are no laws on the books in Israel that discriminate against non-Jews. "Non-national citizenship" is a descriptive, outside term, not an official designation. All citizens of Israel have the right to vote and run for office, not just Jews.

I provided you with real examples, and you're discussing what the government officially declares? Obviously, no government will denounce its own violence. Not isolated cases bro, they have bombed the last catholic curch in July. Tell me, if your objective was to combat Islamic extremism, why would you bomb a Christian church?

Also, yes there are official non-national citizens in Israel look it up and on top of that many property laws clearly declare that non-jewish people cannot buy property on certain areas (which I believe you should condemn if you are in favor of capitalism). And I didn't even mention the people under claimed occupied Palestinian areas with no citizenship.

  • Christian who supports slavery and genocide?

  • Isolationism with AIPAC

  • Well well well
