It seems like a pretty interesting idea to me. Socialism usually works with some form of class struggle, but religious types of socialism are based on completely different values (such as morality, etc.), so their societies would function on completely different types of organization. It would be similar to the utopian societies of the nineteenth century, but with more attention paid to spiritual life.
Socialism is the transitional stage between Capitalism and Communism. Marx and Engels also called it the "Dictatorship of the Proletariat," and it is based on the proletarian class taking control of the means of production, And supposedly to administer them equitably among the population, but the Buddha spoke entirely from detachment and he himself divested himself of his wealth and his status of power; In Marx's eyes, Buddha was merely a bourgeois who awakened moral consciousness and created an opioid (religious) doctrine in which he instructed his community (Sangha).
And all that is talking about Theoretical Socialism; Practical Socialism is totally contrary to Buddhist Precepts, and in several Socialist states Buddhism was and is persecuted, whenever something displeases the regime, such as the Dalai Lama in China
No you don’t you believe in the idea that a eaunch is a woman and that history is only effect driven regarding classes not naturally producing. You worship egalitarianism.
I simply responded to your claim that the left is wholly rational. You can support freedom at the cost of efficiency or practicality lol. And yes I prefer morality over freedom and am not interested in seeing fine folk mutilate their own bodies because big pharma ceos can get a pay check in their pocket.
You’re superstitious and dogmatic for believing perception and inference alone can result in gathering true knowledge. Scripture is also valid! Science is a philosophical dogmatic cult.
Also I am not a communist since communism is a Marxist utopian cult world which is idiotic and unattainable. However, I respect Marx for being the first to politically believe in the means of production must be controlled by workers and I agree with him on that.
All I care about is that it doesn't become an authoritatian hellhole.
Hey as long as you dont belive in capitalism or corporate economics Fair game
same here

Sure why not, if the people want it give it to em
I don’t.
It's sweet but contradictory
Why?

Norodom Sihanouk reign moment
Buddhism as a philosophy: why not?
Buddhism as a religion: absolutely not
I am not a Buddhist Socialist, but a Conservative Hindu Socialist/Workerist as in workers must control the workplace.
Being superstitious automatically disqualifies you from the left. We believe in reason, and materialism
Oh God, this is pure reddit atheism right here
That's a big fedora, I hope you're not planning on tipping it.
"Paleolibertarianism"
I hope you're not planning to be around a bunch of kids

Prattling on about nothing, is a conservative's favourite thing to do, besides hating freedom

two morons fighting
Lol, a "communist" taking issue with my stance on religion being nothing, but superstition
You’re superstitious and dogmatic for believing perception and inference alone can result in gathering true knowledge. Scripture is also valid! Science is a philosophical dogmatic cult.
Doublethink galore
No you’re double think lol, scripture has always been a valid aspect in critical thinking the erasure of it is unnatural and scientific atheist banter

no you just argue like you’re moronic
You're moronic if you think you can be religious, and a socialist
notice how I never said that
No, but you strongly implied it. Why else would you take issue with what I said, originally?
:( I support a republic of moderate socialist parties
Stop making up "socialist" ideology
Shut up
no? People here are so childish
You’re a Marxist
