It's like saying quantum physics isn't real physics because Newton and Galileo envisioned it vastly different than today. Literally this has be en done for vast quantity things where they fundamentally tweak things to prior ideas and radically change it for their idea of it. To sum it up, ideologies and philosophies are not stagnant or immutable and are constantly being redefined or recontextualized.
