I am working on a new map overhaul and wanted to share the first section of it, Ecruteak City. I took inspiration from Polished Crystal with the Stream, Gate and Golden woods in Ecruteak proper, but my main addition is my new Grey stone walls, which are meant to remind the player of stone walls to show the age and fallen glory of Ecruteak as if it has shrunk into itself and become surrounded by nature, in addition, more naturalistic Grass placements help to make the map feel more alive and less like it's a manicured lawn
This is not in the current version of Labradorite, but will hopefully be in the next version
If those trees are the default yellow color, they're going to glow in the dark at night. Which might be what you're going for, I guess.
It looks pretty nice. I do really the grey stone. And the bridge.
I plan on looking into how Polished Crystal did the yellow trees on their Bell Tower and implementing that eventually, but unfortunately they are going to glow for at least for a little bit till I get that implemented

got the palettes on the trees fixed
If I might make a suggestion, maybe swap the autumn leaf trees for ones that don't look evergreen. Having the contrast of the autumn leaves is great but it does look a bit jarring when the type of tree should stay green.
Also the cherry blossom in the middle of the town is a nice touch.

Is it so wrong to post about a creation that you're proud of? Especially when they're progress updates?
Let the guy be excited. Romhacking is hard. Scrolling past stuff you don't want to look at is easy.
