r/PokemonRMXP (RPG Maker XP) is a subreddit dedicated to creating Pokémon fan games made in RPG Maker XP. All content must be relevant to making Pokémon fan games. Do not post something unrelated to making fan games.
Use this megathread (updated monthly) to ask for game recommendations.
Please be specific when asking for a recommendation. Asking for "the best fangame" or "a good fangame" is not specific. e.g. try asking questions like: "I'm looking for suggestions for good fan games set in Johto!" Or, "I'm looking for fan games set in totally unique fan made regions!"
Please be specific when suggesting a fan game. You cannot just paste the title of the game as a comment. Provide some detailed information about the fan game you are recommending, or your comment may be removed.

Best Pokemon Fangames with new fakemon and amazing story and gameplay (I only played pokemon uranium)
What are the best completed fan games? I've finished XenoVerse reborn and tectonic, but now I'm struggling to find a new one.
For the complete ones, my favourite is Uranium. Raptor is good too if you don't mind gen 3-4 mechanics.
I've played Pokémon Opalo, and I have really wanted to play Pokémon Iberia, but I don't speak Spanish. Does anyone know where I could find an English translation? If there's not one, does anyone know if someone is working on one?
I saw a post about a week/2 weeks ago about a Legends style Johto game and that it had every Pokémon from gens 1-9 and some new forms. I was an idiot and never screenshot the game or saved the post and I was wondering if anyone happens to know the name of the game?

Looking for a casual or mid-core fangame with fun characters and 5th-gen–style art. It doesn’t need to be completed. Mugshots are a must. I don’t mind whether it includes fakemon or not.
Fangames played: Real Idea, Remeniscencia, Xenoverse, Opalo, Z, Unbreakable Ties, Revival, Armonia, Berilo, Echo, Panteon, Orisa, Uranium.
I would say the three top ones for me right now are:
Pokemon Miragea's Traveler, Pokemon Vanguard, Pokemon Unbreakable Ties
And because it's getting updated this year, Pokemon Rejuvenation.

Recently playing thru "Pokemon Tectonic" and it's absolutely fantastic! A huge change that I really love is that every pokemon is viable, EVERY SINGLE ONE. A lot of new moves are added and new evolutions forms are mega evolutions, gmax forms of the existing pokemon.
Anyone who dislikes fakemon(has few regional forms tho, they look good) and likes pokemon battles should try this out. There's not much story and it's slow in the beginning but after mid game, it's very good, especially the overworld designs and maps.
