I've looked into it and it seems that ATLUS had implemented some softlocks against this. Is the patch still working from start-finish with no issues? I don't wanna bother with trying the patch only for it to end up completely failing.

Yeah even with dlc personas as far as I know,only aigis dlc is not playable but you really don't miss anything
