1. Name of the game
2. Site from which you got the game from
3. System Specs and OS Version
4. Any steps taken to try to fix the issue
5. Driver version (needed only for e.g. graphics issues)
Make sure to read the stickied megathread as well as our piracy guide, FAQs, and our Wiki, as these might just answer your question!
Garbage is an inherently subjective term, you cannot associate "truth" with subjective language. also, just because some of these titles aren't your big budget UE5 AAA games doesn't mean they're lesser. Learn to expand your horizon before crapping on indies.
I have a repeating calendar notification, every Thur at 11am I check the Epic store!
I still think it's funny I have a friend who is like "Rahuh epic evil Rahuh boo hiss" and I'm just like laughing away with my tons of free games. I still don't quite get why he refuses to even install it aka calling it malware etc. he's my friend but some gamers out there got a weird hate boner for the epic store.
I even just googled it and it doesn't make sense. They don't like their business practices, but what's so bad about them? It's hard for other companies to give away free games because they don't have fortnight money and so they are buying customers via free games? WTF is so wrong with that lol. Competition against steam is good imo.
Same tbh and I actually find epic store to be more appealing, even more user friendly and actually feeling like a very polished storefront than Steam and I would fight to defend that take. There’s nothing bad about it tbh sales are equal as good as Steam and they give free games every single week, why the hate
Kingdom Come 1, GTA V, Dead Island 2. I think those are the only games I’ve spent many hours on. The rest, like PC Build Sim, 2 Point Hospital, Tiny tina wonderland, I only played for about an hour. Free official stuff is good. Thx Epic, despite the fact that I’ve never spent money at your store.
My Epic free library is more expensive than My steam full paid account. currently playing tiny Tina with a friend.
Next borderlands 3, i played deathstranding again to enjoy the online service. Epic really did us good
Remember kids,You don't even have to claim the free games unless its actually a good multiplayer game that is on the free list. other than that you can always pirate the game anytime you like if its a singleplayer game, and you even get it repacked for a smaller download size and more efficient storing, you also don't have to go through Epic Game's stupid buggy processes every time you wanna play the game...
i genuinely have 100 games free from the Epic Store freebies since 2021 and the only one that I have played more tha 10 hours is Tony Hawks Pro Skater1/2 and Horizon which recently started to play
still I love to have this list I feel that I could sell this account for like $100 and some dummy could actually pay for it

Since GTA V
I lost that.
my condolences
🥲
Dont miss Red Dead on the 31st ;)
400 games and counting, most of them complete garbage, but there are few good ones here and there.
478 at the moment.
The only one I regret missing is FM24. Somehow, It's not licensed in my country, would've needed to change my location to get it.
You can't even buy it anymore, due to the companies anti consumer actions
I think I have around 200-300, only bothered to play maybe 5 of them. 95% of that collection is total garbage ngl
Yes, but there are some decent old games in there too. Just recently played both Metro games.
Garbage is a strong word, I'd say niche or not my cup of tea
Have you seen those games?
Have you considered how strong a word 'garbage' is?
True it can be hurtful. Do you happen to be involved in the development of one of those games?

I am not crapping on indies, I am crapping on specific games that have nothing good going for them that happen to be indies, there is a difference.
Why don't you expand your horizon and speak up freely?
Damn so true!
you mean every week

i agree. its just mindless hate. tbh I don't even have steam installed. if not for epic games free games i wouldn't have epic installed either.
plus i don't actually like any of them,if i had to buy games i would buy from gog since its drm free. but i just pirate them
I just have isthereanydeal email me every time. They even watch my wishlist for deep discount for me.
One thing is not installing it like i do, but beign a jackass and feeling superior is another.

You mean every DAY during the holidays?
Some of the free games are actually 🔥🔥🔥
"holy shit I have this game all this time?" - me whenever I open my epic library for a single time that year
Kingdom Come 1, GTA V, Dead Island 2. I think those are the only games I’ve spent many hours on. The rest, like PC Build Sim, 2 Point Hospital, Tiny tina wonderland, I only played for about an hour. Free official stuff is good. Thx Epic, despite the fact that I’ve never spent money at your store.
Hogwarts, I got it for free , I still feel like I was robbed.
They why did you get it then
Just so I can flex on my friends if someone buys it 😂
😭😭

Currently have 454 titles in my library without buying a single thing.
Nah brotato is my fentanyl and epic gifted as a present

I don’t find it to be buggy from my experience tho
The only games i play on epic that were free are gta barony killing floor 2 and thats it i prob have more than 100 games all useless tbh
The devs are not the ones losing money, so why not?
Actually on my Steamdeck majority of what I've played this year has been "free" games from Epic, Amazon Prime and GoG.
Idk bout ya I am playing dead cells rn on my mobilekfirst time got the free games btw)
Get more dopamine by browsing Reddit then starting a simulator we call games where health, ammo and weapons stashed at specific locations.
But hey it adds more to your backlog if ever you feel like playing them
That's how they make money
I missed 4 of them... probably I already have them so. no worries haha
I’ve gotten most of them and now my library on epic is like 60 games deep. I really respect that level of commitment to giving away stuff.

Here I thought I was the only one...lol.
week* most of the time, day* near christmas...
Me never going to epic store cause I'm not gonna make an account for a shitty company just to bolster their numbers to investors.
I'll just stick to pirating thanks.
Pirate or just wait to steam sales, there's a lot of games very cheap and still support the best company and the devs.
No point it all that btw, it’s free games and a good storefront too. The hate isn’t valid ngl
