As far as Pikmin 3 goes, Yellow. Winged Pikmin in 3 are frustrating because they are nerfed purely by how they're programmed. I don't know what it is in technical terms, but they're the most frustrating ones to use, it feels like sometimes they just forget they can fly everywhere

Winged are better than Yellow in Pikmin Bloom at least. And iirc 4 did improve them afaik
