Artist's commentary: Capt. Olimar's worse nightmare.

if you've played Pikmin and if you ever encountered it you should know why.... the first time I saw it it killed a WHOLE group of 90 blues! (well... it's friend the Yellow Wollywog downed a few while they where knocked out) nine-zero, ninety blue pikmin dead... JUST BY WALKING CLOSE TO THEM! The whispy, mysterious Smoky Progg is no joke... that deadly gas can murder your whole team just by touching it.

wonder if white pikmin would be affected.... they probably would, it's not your average type of poison, pikmin can't revocer from it....

Notice how it's not looking at Olimar? oh no... it's got it's eyes on the onions! it drags itself with it's badly formed legs toward the landing site and KILLS PIKMIN SPROUTS! it can't wait for them to be plucked... it uproots them just to see them die!
