I am talking about r/gigilako ang lala na ng subreddit na yan. It's okay to vent and rant about your experiences pero ang lala na ng iba doon ikukuha photo ng strangers without their consent tapos ipapahiya dito sa reddit. Yon ibang posts nila umabot na nga sa Facebook. Kahit itakpan face nila o hindi kita yon buong face, hindi pa rin nakakatuwa na "normal" sa subreddit na yon idodoxx ka imbes na kausapin nalang yon tao.
Gets naman may mga taong rude sa public or nagkamali yon person pero imbes na kausapin kailangan talaga ipicture tapos ipahiya pa? It's bad enough ang daming kupal sa TikTok ginagawa rin ito pero parang ang lala dito sa reddit na lumalabas superiority complex ng mga 'toh.

may excuse nga sila kapag pinagsabihan raw yon kinaiinisan nilang tao, sila raw mapapagalitan kaya ipost nalang raw sa reddit. hindi naman nila malalaman if they don't try?? at kahit gawin nila that does not warrant them for taking unconsented photos tapos ipapahiya online
Unfortunately, sobrang common ng passive-aggressiveness sa mga Pilipino
Di nila alam pwede sila kasuhan ng paglabag ng Data Privacy Act of 2012
ang daming cases na ganito pero hindi naman natutupad. tulad doon sa amalayer girl na nasiraan ng mental health kasi may nag video at namahiya sa kanya. what can we do as a society to avoid this from happening? lalo na yon subreddit na r/gigilako na puno ng mga self righteous people

I started lurking there some time back, it was just a nice little Pinoy rant sub then it went downhill within mere months
sana ipasara na yon page na yon. it became a source of bullying to strangers whos photos were taken unconsented. may superiority complex rin mga tao don may claygo or escalator etiquette pang nalalaman
Its the mods job to enforce its rules. Weak ang moderation sa sub na yun thats why its so easy for doxxing to happen there. Pag may nakita kayong ganun, report it. Reddit would take action against doxxing even if the mods wont.

Is there a law that punishes people for uploading pics of other people in social media to be the center of the talk? This behavior is out of hand and people should be protected even if it was taken in a public place. People should be able to take legal action
Pati sa threads kumakalat na. Meron tayong data privacy and safe space act pero hindi naman ito natutupad. Either people would shame those who want to take legal actions or they dont wanna go through the whole process
Same people who preach about "be kind" "nothing could hurt for being kind" sila rin yon kukuha ng pictures ng iba nang walang consent tapos mamahiya sa social media not considering the mental health of the individual. Parang yon bagong post sa r/gigilako pinicture isang maliit na bata tapos nagvent. Hindi naman pinahiya yon bata kasi totoo naman mali pananamit naka tube at pabaya nanay ng bata pero minor kinuhaan ng picture at kinalat sa reddit.
