Finally after 4 months of job search, I landed on my first ever job yesterday. I'm a fresher with just thesis projects and an internship experience along with a masters (international student). Honestly for the way market is right now and my immigrant status, I was not expecting to even land on interviews for few months. But I guess life has different plans for me and I'm honestly very grateful and excited :)

To all those seeking jobs, I really hope 2026 brings good news in your lives too ♥️

  • Amen… Congratulations on your new job.

    Thank you! ♥️

    Thank you! ♥️

    You're welcome!

  • May i ask for what role or department?

  • Well done, and best of luck with your career.

Make as many friends as possible, help anyone you can and it'll all come back through your career! Team achievements are never as important as solid relationships.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful advice ♥️ I hope I'll make good friends in this journey 🤞

  • Your post just warmed my heart. Just genuinely, a stranger sharing your joy and delighted for you !

    Thank you so much! 🥹♥️

  • Many congratulations!!! Hope you enjoy your new role.

    Thank you so much♥️

  • Congratulations

  • Congratulations!!! I am at the same page of yours and all I am getting is the rejections. Idk what to do without a single experience. Can you tell where can we find the internships??

Thank you! My internship experience was back from my home country. But I carried out my masters thesis as an industry placement in a company here. That was facilitated through my course director. It was a huge boost on my resume, and it wasn't for that, I'm not sure what I'd be doing right now. But don't lose hope. Sign up for job notifications from the company's website and apply for relevant jobs within 2 days of getting posted. It increases the chances of getting your CV noticed by the hiring manager. Meanwhile, you can try reaching out to your course director or any other professor you have a good rapport with and try to see if you can work in their lab. I hope you get something soon♥️

    Thank you so much!!❤️😊

  • Congratulations, hopefully something will come my way as well as i have no GMP experience, any tips ?

Thank you. Tbh, my masters thesis was part of a placement in a GLP/GMP lab. That was a huge boost to my resume and my interview questions were also focused on that rather than STAR questions or on my academics. My only advice would be to try to get an internship at a GMP lab. Hope it helps♥️

Okay thank you will do so, my course was meant to have an internship but we couldn’t go last minute so i had to do the project thesis will try get an intership.

Yeah. I hope it works out for you 🫂

  • Wow , 10 months now and honestly I’m thinking about just forgetting about Pharma

Please don't lose hope🥹 something will definitely work out ♥️

  • Hey! Congratulations. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Biotherapeutics. I'll be graduating this year. What was your majors? Can you please give some suggestions on skill development and certifications to gain right now that will help me enter into a good industry?

Thank you! I did my masters in Regenerative Medicine. As for skill development and certification, I didn't really do anything tbh. I honestly don't know what certification courses we can do that would either add on to our technical skills or soft skills (if anyone has any insights on this, do let me know). I did an industry placement for my thesis which gave me an experience in working in a GLP/GMP lab. That was the main reason why I got the interview call. Even in the interview I was not tested on my laboratory skills or grades. I was mainly asked questions on GMP documentation. Maybe try carrying out your thesis project in a company if possible. Reach out to your professors, have a good rapport with them and ask if you can work in their lab. I hope this helps.
