Hi! I am a daily smoker at night time before bed. I know factually that it's contributing to my anxiety and just feeling "bleh". I've tried to quit multiple times without success and am feeling kinda bummed about it. Since my last attempt at quitting I've been diagnosed and medicated for ADHD and really hoping that will make it easier!

Long story short; I know I need to quit or take a break but am just feeling intimidated on feeling yucky for a bit and/or failing again and need success stories or kind words of wisdom :)

  • I was an everyday smoker but wanted to cut down and not smoke everyday so I picked a day that was the lowest stress (Sunday) and didn’t smoke that day. Then I made that a habit. Next I added a second day Sunday and Monday. I find it easy to not smoke on low stress days. Good luck.
