I think the second one is pretty accurate. It means people that size opportunity and make their own fate don't concern themselves with people who don't think for themselves and just "follow the herd" a.k.a. sheep.

"The lion" memes are a 15yo boy identifying as a man/the lion. I know a lot of people see something about waiting 18 years and think its about preying on a young female but I do believe the meme is about young male confidence featuring a mild indifference towards all the problems of the world. The lion doesn't bother himself with homework when he already knows he going to trade school to be an electrician.
