  • The joke is Saitama (one punch man) is the only one wearing underwear

Saitama (one punch man) is the only one wearing underwear

    WAS wearing

Yea and the guy stealing it wil get a slap on the wrist from him or Tornado

    Gonna be a shattered wrist

    Gonna be a shattered everything.

Kazuma really said "Panties collected, mission accomplished"

Canonically, tatsumaki wears panties. I know, disappointing...

King, truly is the luckiest man in the world

I call bulllllshit. There are soooo many illustrations of her where it'd literally make no sense if she was wearing anything but a thin g string

My headcanon is that King's brain conjured up that panties as a survival mechanism to stop King from dying from pure shock.

as expected of the strongest man on earth, able to use advanced mental techniques to block out psychological attacks

    Very high-cut thong?

Yeah sure. The panties she was shown wearing would be shown in almost every scene of her if it was legit

Look up french cut panties. Now understand the fact that the author is definitely not above using those only because the sisters are supposed to be french

I think you are misunderstanding what they mean, the scene in which her panties are seen shows ones that would be visible at many other times.

Yes some styles would work not the ones she is shown wearing.

My head canon is that she materialises a pair whenever she is about to completely flash someone

Literally has to be it lmao. Artist just doesn't want to admit he's been drawing her without underwear in mind

I imagine she has one of those stickers. People like to use in pornography.

To be fair the manga illustrator is taking a lot of liberties and just really likes drawing people all sexy.

The pun here, is that they are "French cut", because Tatsumaki and her sister are...french.

maybe she knew what would happen so she didn't bring them this time

    Bruh im so dumb

    Look at tatsumaki

Brother. There’s nothing but the cloth.

  • The guy yelling Steal is from Konosuba, he got a spell that specifically steals underwear. The other 3 characters are from One Punch Man. The implication is that he tried to use it in the girls and stole Saitama's (the guy) underwear instead. The punchline being either that he tried to perv and got a guy's underwear instead, and that the girls aren't wearing any underwear.

I must say just defend my boy. Steal is just a spell that randomly can steal any one thing on your person, every single object counts separately (i.e. if you have a pouch of rocks, every single rock has a chance to be stolen). Canonically he just has such a high luck stat that apparently he has a high likelihood to steal whatever may affect the person the most, and in most cases on women he steals underwear.

So he's basically a thief in an RPG? Just random stealing?

Konosuba is a comedy anime about a young man reincarnated in a world of magic. He is pretty trash at most abilities and his party consists of:

    1. The god that reincarnated him
    2. A magician that only makes things go boom
    3. A heavy knight/crusader thats into BDSM and Masochism

Most of the story is your generic "I must get stronger to defeat the big bad" but funny. One of his abilities as mentioned is steal. He often uses this hoping to get something good, but any time its used on a woman its almost always their panties.

Canonically he is very competent; just his party is very heavy and he is not strong enough

I mean, not that the party isnt strong, but that they all are stupid

Tbf Megumin isn't stupid, she's just so goddamn pigheaded and refuses to use any magic other than Explosion, and put all of her points into that one ability so she can physically only cast it once a day.

I mean, that's stupid in another way, but she isn't lacking in intelligence.

After the first season/second or third arc, everyone in his party is demonstrably powerful in their aspect. Like aqua turning a whole freaking lake into holy water, or megumin's explosion getting into city-scale, or darkness' ability to tank almost any physical hit even from enemies 20x her size.

They are just disabled by their flaws, as is Kazuma. He'd be an incredible phantom thief if he had any ambition at all and was half as lecherous.

Insert that clip of Aqua saying shes at max level, and Kazuma realizes thats why her Intelligence stat never increases

They hold him back so much I’m pretty sure it’s confirmed that he would’ve been able to beat the main villain

A god that's an alcoholic narcissistic that EVERY other god sent with him bc they hated her, and a magician that only goes boom ONCE PER DAY, and after doing so is rendered immobile. Also the knight can't land a hit on top of loving to recieve them. Tbf the story is more a play on "everyone wants me to get stronger to beat demon king but I kinda don't want to, I'd rather exploit this world and be rich and comfy, but IF I HAVE TO i guess I'll do this..." but yes, his steal skill ALMOST always works on panties. Though there was that ONE TIME

I haven’t actually seen Konosuba but I thought she introduced him to the afterlife like a condescending asshole and so when he was told, “You can take one thing with you to the afterlife.” He chose her to get back at her and that’s why she was stuck with him.

TLDR: yeah you're correct, I just thought the context was kinda funny because they both got played more or less.

Yeah, this is correct. He thought he would be playing on easy mode with an actual goddess in the party, but since the other goddess said something along the lines (sorry it's been a bit)

"The heavenly bodies have heard his request and decided it's within the boundaries of his request, don't worry I'll take over your duties in the meantime" could be taken as them sending her away because they were annoyed and wanted her to learn some humility.

Love the fact that her powers are extremely nerfed due to her lack of followers (small but dedicated) on that world though.

And then it turns out that she was actually very competent in her job at getting others to agree to being reborn. There is a chance that the process completely erases your soul from existence. She would just ignore that part and get others to agree to the process.

The new girl doing it is terrible at the job and so no other reincarnations are happening, so whoever is there is it, no more isekai mcs to beat the demon king.

Most of it isn't even him trying to get strong enough to beat the big bad. He's kinda just hanging out and making a living while accidentally pissing off the demon lord's captains.

Only make things go boom ONCE

    Just random stealing?

More like Contextually curated stealing. He doesn't necessarily know what he's gonna steal. But it's not completely random. It's most likely to steal something important or valuable.

He's an Adventurer. It's a class that is basically all classes and no classes. He can pick up most or all, Skills provided he has the points to 'buy' them. The other characters have specialized classes like Crusader, Arch Priest, Arch Wizard, but his stats are so low, other than Luck, that he doesn't really qualify for anything else.

Well his class is Adventurer. He can learn any basic skills of any other classes, but can't learn more advanced skills. So he learns anything that he counts as efficient. And about stealing, yes, that thing is random, but his very big luck makes him steal the best thing in particular situation. He also stole a fancy sword from other guy and a head of beheaded evil knight

He's a jack-of-all trades. he picks up skills he could find useful. He thought steal would come in handy in combat, and in truth it has, but it has a penchant for grabbing panties for him. Otherwise, he tries to stay more above board, as dubious and terrible of a person as he is. Though he is reliable.

He did learn steal from a thief but unfortunately....

To be fair, of all the things that Saitama carries on his person, his underwear would be the thing that would throw him off the most.

I'm curious, if your pocket was full of sand, would the spell count the pile of sand as one object, or would each grain be their own object?

Something along the lines of sand was never tested. In the anime itself when he learns the skill and attempts to steal from the person who taught him, she used a bag of rocks to lower the chances of her money being stolen. I also want to know the answer to that.

    This reads like brain rot.

The series is a humorous genre parody, though it all makes some sense in context.  It is often very silly, but not fully of absurd nonsense that means nothing.

His skill isn’t specifically for underwear. The reason he keeps stealing underwear is because keeps using on girls and his luck stat is ridiculous. I believe when he used it on a guy he stole the guy’s prized sword.

So either this is the luckiest unlucky roll or he is about to discover a fetish he didn’t know he had.

Saitama didn’t have anything on him worth stealing other than his tighty whities, and the women didn’t even have that to steal.

or for the joke Saitama is the only one who was wearing underwear

Except that isn’t true, his steal only steals WOMEN’s underwear. Kazuma is fully capable of stealing ANYTHING ELSE from men. He even uses steal to yoink someone’s reincarnation item, a legendary demon sword.

it doesn't specifically steal underwear, it is supposed to steal a random item, but it always steals underwear when he uses it for some reason.

  • To elaborate more clearly, neither of the green haired girls wear underwear because the short one doesnt like the feel of them and I guess the tall one just likes showing off.

Replying to say I was wrong, King confirmed in the Manga that Tatsumaki (the short one) wears a high cut thong that rides just above her dress.

  • Isekai'd Quamire here.

Guy on top Asuma (can't remember is name) have an ability that can steal from a person's item from a distance away. He tried to steal Fubuki or Tatsumaki (two gals) underwear but ended up getting the bald guys boxers.

    Gigity

Kazuma, from Konosuba, uses the steal skill. Steal doesn’t target specific items but rather targets a semi random item. The randomness is tied to the user’s luck stat, the higher the luck stat the more likely it is to be something of value to the user. Kazuma steals whatever he internalizes as the most valuable, for women their panties, for men it steals whatever.

  • Wow, Tatsumaki actually looks like a small adult instead of a child.

Them hips really help the distinction. Only time fandom exaggerating proportions is actually positive.

  • That’s actually pretty funny. Didn’t laugh out loud, but thought about it

  • The character holding the underwear is Kazuma from Konosuba. He learned a spell that steals people's underwear. He expected to get his hands on some panties, but he got One Punch Man's trunks instead.

Steal doesn’t steal underwear, it steals valuables. Not the target’s valuables, what the thief values in their target. The value of the item is semi random and determined by the thief’s luck stat. Kazuma’s steal only steals panties from women, from men it steals whatever is actually the most valuable item.

  • Can't steal what doesn't exist

  • I FAKIN KNEW IT!!

  • Peter clone stuck in the shed here: the top pick is Kazuma from the anime konosuba he has a skill that lets him steals other people’s items but in most cases it steals underwear

The other characters are from the anime one punch man. Kazuma used his ability but it only stole caped baldie underwear because he’s the only one there wearing one.

Now excuse me I have to go back into the shed before the other peter sees me step out of line and takes my Christmas away

  • The steal-er is Kazama from the manga/anime Konosuba. He has the power to magically steal something at random from people, with the running joke is that it normally grabs someone’s (usually women) underwear

The three, from left to right, are Tatsumaki, Saitama, and Fubuki from One Punch Man. Tats canonically doesn’t wear underwear and Fubuki, being her younger sister, would like have a similar preference, so the only underwear to steal is Saitama’s

  • I am not a pedophile so pass on tatsumski now fubuki on the other hand that's a woman downvote me idc

  • Top guy is from Konosuba and it's a running gag that his archetypal "Steal" skill always snags the victim's undergarments instead of their equipment or anything of monetary value.

And then he uses it on those three from One Punch Man and winds up with Saitama's boxers, implying the other two weren't wearing any.

  • Average Danganronpa protagonist

  • The guy in the top meme has a sort of running gag where when trying to use his steal spell, which basically nicks a random item off the target, he ends up accidentially grabbing their underwear instead.

In this case, the joke is that out of the three people he was stealing from, only Saitama (the bald dude in yellow) was wearing pants and the spell failed on the other two because they weren't wearing any to begin with.

  • Sauce is rakeemspoon

  • Genuinely laughed at this

  • The guy at the top is Kazuma from a light novel called Konosuba!

There's a gag where whenever Kazuma uses the "Steal" skill, he steals the target's most valuable item thanks to his high Luck stat. But because Kazuma's a horndog, he always steals panties.

So when he used Steal, only the guy appeared flustered, and Kazuma got a pair of white underwear.

This suggests that the joke is that the women in the image aren't wearing panties.

  • The guy use an steal spell and for some reaon he always steal the underwear of womansand and the fandom from one punch man (the other 3 characters) belives the both womans don't use underwear but the author comfirm at least the short one does

  • The dude says steal and is then holding men’s underwear to the surprise of a guy directly across from him. How are you not getting this? He tried to steal girls panties, but got the guys.

  • Kazuma has an extremely high luck stat, so that means that only Saitama was wearing underwear

  • [deleted]

No the joke is that the other 2 women doesn’t wear panties and kazuma the one stealing the underwear is confused because he has boxers being saitamas underwear.
