This isnt funny but the lengths and depths of American conservatives to take any tragedy and try to score political points for their gross racism and gun fetish is beyond the pale.
Im used to it here in this country but to look at somewhere else and just say, "That's what happens when you ban guns" or "That's what happens when you let Muslims in" is just gross, reactionary, and everything wrong about these death cult fascist.

Australia is only four months away from the 30th anniversary of the Port Arthur massacre(Our last mass shooting and the incident that triggered our then conservative covernment to inact our strict gun laws).

Yes, this is what happens when you ban guns. You go almost 30 years without a mass shooting. As opposed to mass shootings in the USA(shootings with 4 or more victims) which happen on a daily basis. The problem is so bad in the USA smaller mass shootings don't even make national news anymore.
Australia also had an unarmed civilian named Ahmed step up to stop one of the shooters, whereas we have a White police force with military gear too scared to apprehend one teenager in Texas.
Real "If they don't have guns, they'll just stab people" vibes, for sure.
