They started playing Sweet Caroline and everyone started singing along (chorus and a bunch of the words) - except me, I despise Neil Diamond. So I went up and dropped a twenty in the tip jar and said, "any other song" and they switched literally mid-beat (sadly, I don't recall what other song they went to) - less than a minute later someone else went up and tipped them and made them switch back to Sweet Caroline. 😭

I mean, I'm not the most knowledgeable on other races, but I don't think they have a national anthem or such? Also, stuff like poc history/culture exist because white history/culture is considered the default. Most people see the African continent as a uniform country which most people don't know much about. It's why black people are considered "African American" instead of more specifically "Nigerian/Congolese/Algerian American," since early slaves had their cultural identity stripped from them & replaced with "American." We don't have "white" cultural celebrations because they're already normalized and celebrated as more specific cultures. Wisconsin/Minnesota has German Americans celebrating polka & Oktoberfest, Michigan/Iowa has Dutch Americans celebrating tulip festivals, Louisiana has French Americans celebrating Mardi gras, etc.

It is because white people are the default. America is designed for white people. "white history" is just regular US history. They have to carve out a month to be like "okay, we will talk about black people for 28 days".
White people have never been held back due to the fact that they are white so they don't need a NAAWP organization. Black people were as were most other ethnic minorities.

Whites not getting a white history month is in part down to the fact that every month is white history month, but i guess you don't register it as that because you are used to it.
As Tom Lehrer once so fittingly put it about the National Brotherhood Week,

Be grateful that it doesn't last all year!"
Education matters.
If important white people were smarter they’d push DEI policies hard so there’s not massive backlash once they hit minority status in two or three decades.
Or just generally because racism wastes the potential of about half the entire population.
Guess why they’re so busy deporting anybody even slightly brown, even when they show up at court as part of their legal citizenship process?

Most white history months occur in October, except some like the Irish American Heritage Month, which is in March.

I mean, I'm not the most knowledgeable on other races, but I don't think they have a national anthem or such? Also, stuff like poc history/culture exist because white history/culture is considered the default. Most people see the African continent as a uniform country which most people don't know much about. It's why black people are considered "African American" instead of more specifically "Nigerian/Congolese/Algerian American," since early slaves had their cultural identity stripped from them & replaced with "American." We don't have "white" cultural celebrations because they're already normalized and celebrated as more specific cultures. Wisconsin/Minnesota has German Americans celebrating polka & Oktoberfest, Michigan/Iowa has Dutch Americans celebrating tulip festivals, Louisiana has French Americans celebrating Mardi gras, etc.
There are very much white clubs and organizations.

It's made by people who want to rage bait, and sometimes reposted by people who are woefully educated, and stuck in an echochamber of ignorance whose parents are likely the bookends of it. It grants a moment to educate. They might clap back with more dumb shit right then and there, but what you say, depending on how profound it is, might stick out later when something else positively disrupts their worldview.
