• Sort of, but this map still shows a trend that isn't just big cities.

I mean honestly what it really shows is that they're clustered near DC, which... makes sense? Because to become a Jan 6 defendant, you had to haul ass to DC to try and overturn the election, which people near DC are more likely to do. There's also a tendency to be southern for obvious reasons, but mostly it's a bunch of red dots clustered around DC, which is unsurprising for a crime committed in DC.

  • this is maybe the dumbest heat map i have ever seen

It certainly contains many low IQs

lol no pun was intended, but what does this map say? most people live in/around large metros but there also people who live in rural areas? like…did anyone not know that?

i know im agreeing im saying i cant even figure out what the creator was trying to convey

  • Not the creators fault, but God I hate marker clustering as its implemented on leaflet. Not sure what the solution is, its something I've thought about for a few years, but I do t see how this is useful in most scenarios you want an interactive map

  • Nice! Thankfully none of these clowns live in Atlanta (city, not metro). Not that I’d expect any of them to not vitriolically hate Atlanta like all right-wingers do.

  • I can never get these damn map to work

  • Of course Ohio and Florida have a lot

  • just a bunch of folks lost on a field trip

  • Wait hold the phone.  So you're telling me that the J6 crowd in D.C. consisted disproportionately of... people who can get to D.C. quickly and cheaply?

    That's wild dude.  Who knew?
