Desiderata Soubriquet Cool Mint Water Acrylic, EF [C] $320 $310: This one was a grail for me, and I still think it's beautiful, but I find myself being too precious with it to the point that it discourages my using it, so I'm passing it along so it can continue on the next leg of its journey where it can be used as the tool it deserves to be used as.
This is a beautifully, carefully made pen by a one man operation. Pierre mentored under Richard Binder, and did a wonderful job refining the steel #6 Jowo EF nib that the pen comes stocked with. Pump piston works fantastically, and the swirling in the acrylic is really beautiful. It's just a damn pretty pen! This was lightly used, but there is some light ink staining from me on some patches of the threads and heavier blue staining on the plastic tube that attaches to the feed that enables the pump piston to function, as well as some very slight marks and machining residue that the pen came with that I haven't been able to fully remove. I've done my best to capture them as accurately as I can in photos, so please be sure to give them a look.
