I do not understand how Louisiana is a red state. How do they vote against every single thing that can help them? They are at the very bottom of almost every metric.
Worse is that the climate change that Republicans and Conservatives seem to think isn't real is eroding their state rapidly. The standard shape isn't even real anymore.
You would hope that when it is in their faces-when they are seeing the change with their own eyes-feeling the effects in their own lives-that they would finally come to the realization that climate change is real and will potentially destroy their state and livelihoods, they would wake up. But I’m not holding my breath!
Well, if the US takes Greenland, you just know we're gonna expedite the melting of the ice sheet, which certainly would cause some problems for New Orleans.

I don't think it's a distraction, it's part of the long-term plan; it's in Project 2025. The security plan released this month has their global plans: Canada and Greenland and South America go to the USA, Russia gets Europe, and China gets Far East.
I don't think Venezuela is a distraction, he made his reasoning pretty clear. He wants their oil, that isn't new and he isn't the first - but he's dumb enough to do it. But I think Canada and Greenland are distractions. Or at least not serious. If they're serious about those two, I wouldn't be surprised to see China and Russia use this as a chance to knee cap the US. Jump in at the chance to defend traditional US allies, completely realign the world. Russia gets to see the US fall and China gets to cement itself as the new global power.
Russia and China liked the new plan; it gives Russia Europe, and gives China the Far East, including Taiwan. We start going for Greenland or boots on the ground Venezuela, we can't say anything about Taiwan or Ukraine, or Europe. Vance was talking yesterday about dumping Ukraine, and they've been working on destabilizing the EU, and somewhat NATO.
The people yearn to go to war with Denmark and the rest of NATO. Every time I go to the local diner I overhear like ‘well I can’t afford groceries or this meal even, and I don’t know anything about Greenland, but I feel the need to fight for that cold barren chunk of land.’
But sure, maneuvering to create a new world order of humanity controlled by dictatorships (which then go to war to eliminate each other) is also serving as Epstein distraction.

The secret is that the GOP and their ultra-wealthy donors are robbing Americans with investments blind, looting the treasury including loading up the nation with debt before they head off for greener pastures. They used tariffs to manipulate markets so they could make money on the dips and peaks, and now they're buying up hundreds of billions in private tariff liabilities for pennies on the dollar so that when the Supreme Court rules "against" Trump's tariffs the government will have to pay back all those collected tariffs but now it's Trump and his allies that will be getting "paid back."
