  • I don’t even get the end goal of this. “Haha, you don’t hate Hispanic immigrants! You care about their wellbeing! That makes you Hispanic!” ????

Like…shouldn’t you have a base level of care for everyone? And why should it take being a part of a demographic to respect that demographic?

The goal is to just be racist because their base likes it and they’re down in polling. The hope is their base enjoys being racist more than they enjoy feeding their children.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes I’m desensitized to it, and sometimes it just boggles the mind. Such a hateful (and short sighted) mindset 🤦‍♀️

The hope is their base enjoys being racist more than they enjoy feeding their children.

Based on the MAGAts in my life that's 60/40.

    Most of them do.
If you gave them a fucked up monkey's paw wish where "you can do something to really hurt everyone who has brown skin, including ones with really dark brown (you know who I'm talking about), but your kids have to go a week without eating."

They'd suddenly feel like their kids could stand to lose a little weight...

The past has proven this to be 100% true.

Remember last month when Trump posted that Democratic lawmakers urging service members to refuse illegal orders was “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”? Afterwards, he reposted another post saying “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”

Ornaments hang from trees. Stating that Jeffries and Schumer are “ornaments” should be very worrying and interpreted as a threat. Regardless of whether or not that was one of the intended messages (who would be surprised if it was), we can’t ignore that it was said. This administration is evil but it is dangerous to fall into thinking that they are incompetent. They know what they are doing.

EDIT: It can’t be forgotten that Jeffries is black. They’re talking about a black man hanging from a tree. I don’t think I have to elaborate further on the historical context as to why this is especially abhorrent to reference.

My god, this is so fucking dark. I hate this, but it tracks :(

it seems like they're trying to instigate violence.

that, or whoever it is they're letting tweet those out must just have the mental age of a teenager. "haha mexican people. hahaha, we're edgy". best to just ignore posts from the literal white house for now, it's just unfunny shit posts. it's unironically just a troll account now.

these people will have their day of judgement.

  • Makes as much sense as the “Hispanics for Trump” crowd.

Latinos for Trump I think. Otherwise known as “the face feeding leopards”

    You’re correct.

I wonder if those same people will actually vote the other way or just not participate in future elections.

Oh they’ll probably vote Republican again. The gop’s business model is great: a base that never learns.

  • Boy he’s doing everything he can to make sure the Republicans lose the Hispanic vote.

You know we say that now but some how they’ll forget by the next election. Can’t have women in power, or gays or some other kind of Hispanic person that is somehow lesser than them be here too right? Honestly, lessons damn well should have been solidified after 2016.

Honestly up till now there haven’t been any direct repercussions to the Hispanic community for their past votes. Now it’s like an aluminum bat upside the head with how bad it’s gotten. Idk how you ever trust the right again. There’s some betrayals that are never forgotten in history no matter how short your attention span is

Unrelated anecdote, pertaining to animals, not comparing people to dogs here just a forewarning:

If you kick a dog by accident, they generally forget pretty quick. If you do it repeatedly and on purpose, eventually that dog is never gonna be cool around you again

People in poor economic situations tend to blame the people in power for their economic situation being poor. Hispanic, younger, and generally lower-class voters have massively shifted back to the left because incumbency becomes a negative when the economy isn’t in good shape.

Hispanics won’t revert back to their 2024 margins unless the economy becomes significantly better in the next year, and we all know it’s not going to go in that direction.

I think this a highly optimistic take to be honest. I hope you’re right, but it’s not just poverty that made them easy pickups for the republicans. They also tend to hold highly conservative beliefs based on Catholicism, so anti abortion, anti women’s rights, anti LGBT, these are all highly ingrained values for many people from Central and South America. There is also a pervasive anti immigrant view among money Hispanic folks who may have been here for a couple generations.

All these factors are real, and I don’t think we do ourselves any favors by deluding ourselves that it was JUST caused by the economy, or any one thing, and that we can easily get those votes back.

I mean, we have exit poll results from the elections in 2024 and 2025. Hispanics (along with every other demographic) overwhelmingly listed the economy as their biggest factor in determining who to vote for. Not abortion, not gay rights, not women’s rights, the economy.

There’s no reason why Hispanics would shift 30 points to the right in 2024 and then immediately shift more than 30 points back to the left in 2025 if what you’re saying is true.

If you just want to write off all Hispanic voters because you think that they care more about gay marriage than their ability to afford groceries, be my guest, but it’s not based in reality.

    Yes they will. Because religion.

Did Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger run as tradcaths or something?

I mean, he’s doing everything he can to get rid of Hispanic voters - so why do you think they care about the Hispanic voters if they just want them all gone?

Hispanics will still vote for him. For the ones who

    do they don’t thin

It's like they're aggressively trying to see if they can get Hispanic support to 0%

  • They keep trying to get this hat thing to stick, but it just ain't happening. Fucking losers.

  • A sombrero with a Star of David. If they could have gotten a lawn jockey on there they would have it a racist trifecta. This administration is an effing embarrassment.

Fuck I didn’t even notice the Star of David.

First thing I noticed was the Star of David, in yellow, like a certain patch a certain group was forced to wear…

What is the star of David supposed to be saying? That they're pro Israel? Anti Israel? The white house is extremely pro Israel I thought

  • Racist. Disgusting. Deplorable, just like she said.

  • Our government should not be concerned with talking shit to it's citizens. Pandora's Box had it's lid blown off by MAGA dipshits and we're so far beyond fucked that we'll never manage to function as a normal society again. Won't be long til Trump takes money in return for renaming the Whitehouse "The 4Chan House of Owning the Libs".

    Don't give him any ideas.

  • I’d like a republican to explain what’s objectively funny about this other than your invented “triggered the libs” cope.

  • I'm sure Jeffries and Schumer feel so terribly terribly owned. There probably crying in a corner.

  • When is this White House NOT being racist?

  • These people are less mature than my 6 year old.

  • Like the gal of them to quote Feliz Navidad. Fucking sick man.

  • Is it bad that this doesn't shock me? Like at all..

  • Trump is so unfit for office

  • More openly racist everyday.

  • And anyone is surprised by this?

  • What is that? I don't get it. Also, I don't think there are any people with hearts in the white house.

    • The ornament is a sombrero.

    • The text is from the song, "Feliz Navidad" by José Feliciano.

    • Feliz Navidad translates to Merry Christmas.

    • José Feliciano is Puerto Rican.

    • The emoji at the end of the text are maracas.

    • There aren't any people with hearts in the white house.

    • I hope karma is a thing in both 2026 & 2028

  • It’s Marco Rubio and Ted deLaCruz favorite ornament.

  • What do Mexicans have to do with ACA subsidies? Nothing but Republicans use immigrants as a scapegoat for screwing poor people.
