Hey, Im diying this ouija board for a sleepover with friends. Never used one before; any advice? Do we gotta not take our hands off the planchette, and are there any questions one should refrain from asking? Any precautions or knowing when to stop?

If you do insist on using one, then go into it with clear minds, good thoughts, and focus on having a positive experience. Good spirits are attracted to high vibes and bad spirits to low vibes. When you're ready to end the connection, thank them for their time and guidance. Make sure you clearly state that you are ending the session and move the planchette to the Goodbye section.
Just like when talking with strangers online, stay safe and vigilant. If something feels off then end the session. Always trust your gut.

Each time I saw her, she would ask me - if I believe now…. I had to literally beg for forgiveness for my stupidity before she would stop. I remember begging my parents to take me to get evaluated and would drink NyQuil to fall sleep because I was terrified of her. She has forgiven me and moved on after many months but I still get visited by different spirits randomly through the years since.

During my first week of using a pendulum, I encountered a demon. It was on my back choking my throat from behind. My wife couldn't see anything, but I had a weight on me and I couldn't breathe. She thought I was having a heart attack. By invoking Christ's name, the being disintegrated.

It was rlly fun, moved cause of the ideomotor effect and cause we were sleeping deprived and sugar high at 12am. Anyways he went to the toilet and I asked is that really Mary Queen of Scots and the planchette/pointer moved to no I closed the session made the pointer go to goodbye, threw it out the window and ran downstairs as there was suddenly a sensation of utter dread like something was right behind me ready to devour me/kill me, as soon as I got downstairs I ran into a corner of the living room pulled the armchair behind me effectively trying to barricade myself from whatever it was chasing me and there was wind blowing paper an stuff in a circle in the living room.
My brother who took his time finishing having a dump an wiping his ass (I hope although can't confirm) came downstairs when the wind was blowing stuff around in the living room an as soon as stepped foot in the room everything stopped the wind died down an he was like what happened so I told him an he was like how did you close the session what did you do with the pointer.
Yeah I may not have done things correctly but in my defense I was under 10.
Also that house definitely has something there, that feeling of dread still lingers in that house one of the rooms I had sleep paralysis saw a pair of glowing eyes that I put down to being a battery charger only realizing when I woke up that the battery charger was plugged in elsewhere. My wife who's sensitive to spiritual stuff gets freaked out by that room also has had stuff launched from bookshelves at her witnessed by my daughter I've been in a different room and had my legs wrapped up in the covers and lifted whilst I was sleeping, I've been woke up by the bed (nothing else just the bed) shaking as stated I'm in Scotland and the last time there was a earthquake of any significance it was the year I was born and it was only enough to make ornaments shake for a second apparently. Another room has cold spots.

Ive used them plenty of times with no bad coming from them. Ive made my own and bought several. I suggest making sure that those who are playing come into it with no negative emotions, so dont play when youre upset or annoyed because it will feed off of it, you can burn sage/Palo santo etc during to.try and ward off bad things but saging the space before and after helps too. It helps to have someone either writing the responses, sometimes the spirits can spell fast, or recording the session. Candles can create a nice ambiance for the session. NEVER leave the planchette sitting on the board without someone touching it, its like leaving your front door open when no one is home something WILL get in. Flipping the planchette upside down on the board is supposed to be ok but i find it better to remove the plancette from the board entirely. If it starts making no sense, misspelling etc, pull the planchette and start over. Remember to thank the spirits who communicated before putting it away. When you put the board away and sure there is something separating the planchette from the board.

Buy alcohol and play truth or dare or other stupid drinking games instead. In my opinion, using an ouija board is like driving a car. You will not get into an accident every time you drive a car. In fact, the vast majority of times you drive, you will not get into one. However, that doesn't mean an accident is impossible, and that doesn't mean that taking precautions such as a seatbelt isn't the right thing to do. You may also want to avoid risky behavior, or driving on certain roads unless you have to. There will also be times, like if it's pouring outside, that it just makes sense to not drive at all unless you have to.
Usually, when something is an urban legend, it's told as something that's happened to a friend of a friend, or a kid that went to your school, or something like that. There's usually a few degrees of separation. When it comes to ouija boards, there are way too many people saying that it happened to them for me to discount it as just a harmless toy.
