This loading screen bug has been around for a few months, and it is not related to the recent server outages. Servers sometimes go down and usually come back within a few hours, or on Tuesdays they go down at a set time and return 10 minutes to an hour later. If you get this bug, the best fixes are to remove and reinstall Paladins or restart the game each time it happens, especially if you notice that your gem or other players’ gems do not light up on the loading screen.

There are no active developers left, so there is no communication about fixing these issues. You either live with the bugs or rely on quick, temporary fixes.

Paladins was down for quite awhile yesterday. Idk if that has anything to do with your issues. But a ton of people were having issues.

I had this today as well, the only "fix" is closing game and trying re-entering match.
