I got introduced in briefly in original trilogy and from lego games of it in my childhood. Although prequel trilogy is what hooked me in the franchise itself.

  • Lego Star Wars for the GameCube

  • I saw the prequels first. I was visiting my friends/family friends who had two boys around my age and they were obsessed with Star Wars and had light sabres and stuff. I think I saw either I or II. Honestly I don't rly like Star Wars much tho I think it's boring. Lego Star Wars and battlefront are way better than the movies. I also think II is the least terrible Star Wars movie though I haven't seen any of the new ones. I'm guessing I'll get downvoted like crazy since this is reddit xd

  • I saw the original trilogy when I was a kid, forgot about it. Watched the family guy films when I was a teen and fell in love with it all over again.

  • My dad sat me down and made me watch episode IV when it came on TV. We tuned in when C3PO and R2 jettisoned to Tatooine.

I remember being dead bored for what felt like 2 hours until they fought the TIE fighters. Coolest shit I’d ever seen

  • My uncle brought over Episode 1 on DVD to watch with my dad when it came out. Been loving it ever since even with the road bumps

  • I was shown the Original Trilogy when Revenge of the Sith was coming out. 2005 kicked ass.

2005 was probably the first year I could remember with any significance

  • My parents recorded a lot of movies on VHS from tv. Among them there was the original trilogy of Star Wars, and the first two parts of the prequel trilogy. We watched these movies with my family when i was a kid.

  • Clone Wars in 2008. Then I watched the movies and became a fan.

  • With a portable DVD player at my uncle's house, where he also had Attack of the Clones

  • Lego Star wars the complete saga

  • My dad bought the OT for me back in 2005 along with Phantom Menace and then we went to see Revenge Of The Sith in theaters and I was hooked after that

  • Watched Force Awakens when it came out in 2015, then watched the rest of the movies

  • One of my earliest memories of media is seeing Darth Vader choke a guy in ANH. I remember being terrified of him. I think I might have been two or three. It's one of the brief flashes of consciousness I remember from such an early age.

Didn't really think about Star Wars until I was 5 or 6 and found VHS copies of PM and AOC in a shoe box in the back of a closet. I became a huge fan after that. I remember getting super hyped when episode 3 hit theaters and getting to watch it on the night of the premiere. We had to wait in line around the block to get tickets and we saw it in a small town, so I couldn't imagine what it would've been like in a city.

  • I knew it before my memories formed

  • My dad showed me the original trilogy, then the prequel trilogy. Back then, the sequels were the stuff of speculation and nothing more than that. I always liked the prequels, although they're far from perfect. That's on childhood nostalgia though. George Lucas is not good at writing dialogue, but he's got a knack for worldbuilding.  The cast did well with what they were given, and I can say the same of the sequels. There is at least something in each of the nine films that I enjoy.

Rogue One blows everything but the originals out of the water, though.

  • The Clone Wars TV series

  • Watching movie rentals with my family of Star Wars I, II, and III.

I remember Anakin turning to the dark side, Obi Wan conferencing Padme, and then the showdown on Mustafar.

  • The first thing I can remember successfully reading was the cover of A New Hope in a video store. My mom let me get it because I could read it. Instantly my favorite movie ever.

  • lego starwars stop motion animations on youtube circa 2007

  • i saw this episode on a CRT

  • My Dad showed them all to me and my brother when we were little, and then I played the Lego games on the Wii. I honestly don't remember a time when I hadn't seen these movies

  • My dad was 12 when the original movie came out in 1977 so he's been obsessed ever since. I've been watching it basically since birth, and I've seen all the prequels and sequels in the theater, including, allegedly, the Phantom Menace in 1999

Nowadays I don't watch it that often, but I still like the movies, and Battlefront 2 on the PS2 is still an all-time game

  • my dad. he started me on the original trilogy. i distinctly remember being terrified of Luke screaming “NOOOOO!” without his hand LOL. i saw AOTC in theaters and revenge of the sith too. the games were amazing. i kinda grew out of it after 11, til Force Awakens and The Last Jedi happened lol. Heard Rise of Skywalker sucked a fart out of a camel’s ass so i never saw it. Also i guess the canon is way bigger than i remembered i barely recognize 90% of the people the starwars subreddit talks about.

  • My dad sat me down on the couch at the ripe old age of 4 to watch all of the originals and the 2 prequels in preparation for revenge of the sith coming out that spring. We watched 1 movie a day because I was 4 and wouldnt sit still longer than that. But I fell in love with the series. One of the earliest memories I have was watching those movies and seeing all the “real jedi” at the movies (Dudes in costumes)
