Thereโs a third one too, itโs only in one episode. I donโt recall how it differs but I learned about it when I was watching reruns on Nick at night as a kid. I remember catching it one night and got so excited to have witnessed it.
One year, when I lost my job, I took a "Summer of George", and watched this show. I loved every minute of it. So hilarious and MTM, wow! So gorgeous in this series.
Iโm pretty sure that all or nearly all of this was just one show The Dick Van Dyke Show! But maybe you saw him in Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or perhaps Bye Bye Birdie.
As kids we would try to guess which show opening they would use, where Dick trips over the ottoman or side steps it.

What a cool memory.
I love that we are celebrating him like this while heโs still around to see how much his work mattered to so many.
Who doesn't love some Dick? ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Van Dykes.
Yes
Mary Tyler Moore was the mom everyone wished was theirs.
She was perfect. Tall, which made him not look so tall, and a great foil for his physical comedy, offering a fair bit herself. Gorgeous.
As much as I love his physicality, my favorite thing about him is his impeccable timing. He knows EXACTLY when to pull the trigger on a gag.
Love Mr. Van Dyke!

Physical comedy is evergreen, as the greats say
Great guy. He deserves credit for promoting Andy Kaufman on his variety show.
I've never seen any on those shows, but it seems fun to watch ๐

Yup
Best thing I watched today. Happy memories of my family together laughing while we watched this on the B&W telly! Days gone by 100 yrs
I see where Jim Carrey got his skills from, lol.
But more understated than Carey, while being over the top.
Greatest entertainer period. I ran into him in an airport garage and he was just plane old kind and unassuming. Drove his own rental.
Fucking. Legend. You shoulda showed me the penguin dance too tho.
I would love to see his early shows!

He was/is such a cute guy. Always loved him growing up.
The Greatest
Amazing entertainer, wonderful show and cast - nostalgia! Who ever put this clip series together, โค๏ธ
Dick Van Dyke is his stage name. His birth name was Penis Truck Lesbian
I'll allow it
Mary Poppins 101!! ย โBertโ was the ultimate comedian, dancer and chimney sweep.ย
That's awesome they're still celebrating his legacy like this!
And still going.
๐ฅณ
Itโs crazy that he was in his 60โs when most Millennials were born.
60s
Happy Birthday Mr. VAN dyke. Thanks for the wonderful performances over the years.
Dick's longevity is impressive.

Dadaada Dadaada Dadadadaada!
He makes it all look so effortless. If you or I tried any of that - it would look so bad lol. I hope he lives 25 more years.
Happy birthday, Richard
HBD, DVD! 100!!!
Actually, Dick Van Dyke is quite a good dancer. He's very nimble on his feet. ๐
Gosh happy birthday Mr van dyke
Still would, just sayin
He was the GOAT
Iโve only ever caught bits and pieces of this show on TV over the years, but it is fantastic, as is all of his work. Happy 100th, Mr. Van Dyke!
Ohhh, Rob.
I thought he looked familiar, i didn't realise he was Bert in Mary Poppins
Legendary physical comedy. Loved him growing up.
What?! I was born and raised in West Plains MO and never knew he was also born there!
I knew about preacher Roe, but only because one of the main roads was named after him ๐ but there was was no Dick Van Dyke Blvd in town.
You really do learn something new everyday!
So what channel is running a Dick Van Dyke show marathon this month?
I will never not refer to him as Penis Van Lesbian.
Back when comedy was talented performers not just actors with one liners that often include insults and profanity.
