Congratulations! My first dog was adopted at age 9. It took a while for us to establish commands and trust, but it was so incredibly rewarding. He’s been gone for 5 years now and I still think of him every day. Adopting a senior dog is such a beautiful thing. Millie is lovely! She’s lucky to have you :)
