I didn't take this course but I took STAT 5731 with him, its part one of a Basic R series. It was alright, he's pretty knowledgeable about the subject but he was kind of a tough grader. I hadn't taken stats in a long time so I struggled a bit, if you are in a better place with it you may have a better experience.

He is a great professor. He can come off as a bit scary sometimes but he prepares you well for exams
