1: Canon/Canon adjacent
2: CEO of teasing
3: Underswap 2
4: Sending an entire clone army to JJK Sunny/Basil's ass (sometimes Hero's instead)
the first two are like 75% of Mari fanfic, the third one is like almost everything else and the fourth one is sparse in fanfic count (because we know Mari loved/loves Sunny dealy)

Honestly the whole incident happened because of Mari’s perfectionism causing Sunny to find it overbearing however upon wanting to quit her perfectionist side did cause an argument to happen in turn also causing Sunny to have a fight or flight response. In summary no I don’t think mari is evil just flawed and human like everyone else
Intuitively, it doesn't feel like a bad thing, and for good reason: it's nearly impossible to portray Mari negatively without it seeming like obvious satire. This only strengthens her position as the most beloved character in the community and further emphasizes her ultimate positivity. Truth isn't so weak that she would need a bodyguard.
Ngl, It was kinda suspicious Mari barely fleshed out. Game shows that she's a perfectionist and I thought she was also narcissist and it's one of the reason why Sunny was pushed to the brink and broke his violin and killed her accidentally

I wish I had the energy currently to articulate my whole thoughts on this version of her.
Essentially I think an abusive or cruel Mari is an interesting idea that rarely get's utilized with the tact it deserves and is often cheaply used to either justify OMARI-like universes or validate Sunny's anger towards her for whatever reason. Half the time I think it's people taking the understandable premise of Mari being stressed out and taking it out on the people she loves the most...but they end up taking it to such an extreme that it's not even comparable. It never feels right to me because it feeds right into Sunny's twisted nightmare fantasies about being hated and half the time implies that it's justified.
Doesn't help that Sunny is always the victim of her wrath, no one else even when it would logically make sense.
I think Canon Mari is pretty representative, she cared about the recital because she loved her family and friends and didn’t want to disappoint them. Having on confirmed outburst doesn’t mean she isn’t loving
Yeah, it doesnt have to be this black and white. She clearly seems to have some issues with perfectionism. Even the nicest people have their own triggers that cause them to shift their personality, for Mari it seemed to have been seeing Sunny break the violin and ruin their play.
Idk if I’m dumb and wrong on this but I’d say that being extremely stressed out like the two of them were in that scene would make you act out of character to some extent. I haven’t played in a while but I never got the idea that Sunny would usually be the kind to break stuff for example, but that situation was stressful enough for him to toss the violin he loves down the stairs and break it. For Mari, even in black space there’s no memory of her yelling at Sunny outside of the Omori alter ost (and I guess the part where you make her run over and over again if you count that), and I’m pretty sure if Mari actually ever did hit him then it’d show up in black space to some capacity. Also, as much as headspace does glorify her she’s still a 15 year old girl so she should probably get some leeway for yelling at Sunny and (I think) trying to block him off from running away. I would still agree about her pushing Sunny way too hard with practicing and sucking all the fun away from playing together for him, but like I see that as more of a pretty terrible mistake she had a good chance of learning from if she didn’t die instead of her secretly being King Von

Your Canon Mari isn't particularly Canon either. Sunny wouldn't have pushed her if he wasn't afraid of her in some way (flight or fight response)
