TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Former Tallahassee church worship leader Hunter Chase Eubanks has been sentenced to 17 years behind bars in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Florida.

The man is also facing state charges for sexual activity with a 16 or 17-year-old, soliciting a child, traveling to meet a minor and child abuse.

The man was sentenced for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old churchgoer between July 2024 and October 9, with encounters occurring multiple times on church grounds and other places in the capital city, per previous reporting. It was also found that the 30-year-old “requested that the minor produce and send him images that would constitute child pornography,” per the state attorney’s office.
