    The primary purpose of Experimental Breeder Reactor-I (EBR-I) was to demonstrate that a nuclear reactor could "breed" more fuel than it consumed, while also producing usable electricity as a secondary proof-of-concept. As a result, it didn't produce much in the way of usable electricity, only powering itself.

    Just don't google what a half-life is and you will never find the batteries
