I'm pretty sure that's not a woman in metroids visor. But a woman's ghost in his visor, it's a pretty easy mistake to not notice that she's see through after all.
I have to be honest, my first exposure to Metroid was Super Smash Bros. My young self never considered the shape of the armor was actually her boobs and not just pockets of ammunition. Took me a while before realizing that the badass I was playing with was a woman.
