For something like 2 days, it was either firing or reloading. Well over 200 shots in a row... maybe tanks aren't made for laying down supressive fire?
200 round is still unconfirmed thought, not mention there are other tanks (Oplot, M60) in the area so... either Vt-4 took center stage and fire non-stop without other taking its place or all tanks shot a lot but only VT-4 has barrel problem.
never buy ammo from china, thats a lesson that argentina, rusia, iran? and now thai learned the hard way
It's not really the ammo that's the problem, it's firing the gun for 2 days straight with no maintenance time that's the problem.
Just like how the Type 10 could have a faster firerate but it wouldn't make it through the autoloader without the barrel melting first.

Tanks are made to receive suppressive fire. Common mix-up.

Yeah, if you use the barrel excessively it will probably start having performance issues
