I just want to meet up for coffee, or go as a group to a museum. I don't want to play DnD, I role-play as my gender all day long, and drugs/alcohol are just not my scene. Can't we arrange an ice cream social?
Don't worry, not everyone is like this. My whole group is made up of friends and family and we're all Straight-edge so know you're not alone. I get where you're coming from. We had to make our own meetups for this reason.
That's valid! I get that! The alcohol centered groups are there for you. I just want like.....one group that's sober and not exclusively gaming nerds. I need peers, not drinking buddies, cuz I may have tons of deep convos while drunk, but that doesn't matter if I don't remember them the next day.

Go to AA 🤷🏼♀️ I have several lgbt friends and am myself but we’re all recovering addicts and/or ex cons so we’re a tight little pack.

Yeah, I don't know anyone in the group who doesn't drink but I'm sure they exist.
