PLYMOUTH TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Plymouth Township say they have identified and charged the drivers behind a chaotic street takeover at a busy Montgomery County intersection last summer.
The incident happened on June 15 at the intersection of Ridge Pike, Chemical Road and North Lane.
Investigators say the suspects - Amar Abdalhamed Amar of Arnold, Md.; Gabriel Hernandez of Pennsauken, N.J.; and Marco Mirkovic of Newark, Del. - blocked traffic, performed donuts and set off fireworks.
All three men face charges including reckless endangerment, reckless driving, illegal racing and related traffic offenses.
In addition to the criminal charges, three spectators were cited for vehicle code violations related to blocking the roadway, officials said.
