As well as executing them indicated there was some chance they could be identified or retaliation for not having the money.
The gut wrenching part aside from them being killed so brutally is the fact those kids had no involvement other than existing yet they will suffer the most.
3 guys that happened to be black kill a whole family after taking probably less than 1000 dollars. The family was not resisting and cooperated but the thugs just killed them all with guns and left the two toddlers traumatized with the dead family alone in the house.
And even if the father was under investigation doesn't mean that the other family members deserved to get killed over a few hundred dollars which they gave
