Shitty Nissan drivers aside, I rented a 25 Altima last week, had more fun driving it than my 2022 Camry. Very zippy and roomy sedan. Handles incredibly well for the $27K it costs.
I rent National and lately they have been placing a lot more Altima S into executive tier and especially at Enterprise where cars are assigned. Guess it’s better than the Kicks, but get why Nissan continues to crank em out as they will a ton of fleet sales.
I hate to admit it, but inspite of the horrid transmissions, these might be the last bulletproof cars onsale.
How many clips do we see of a beat ass altima, smashed up, missing panels, no doubt hasn't seen an oil change in 20k miles, driven horridly and they're still on the road.
I'm kinda glad it's still around. If they figure the cvt replacement, these things would outlive the roaches
They sell a billion to rental fleets. Hate getting them as a rental. I truly feel unless they get a partner they won’t be around long.

They ended production of the S for MY2026, they were probably clearing out stock. The higher trims are much nicer tbf
Toyota Camries are like driving in a video game on a cheap sim rig without much feedback. Not hard to be more engaging than one of those.

Don't celebrate the death of the Altima. For as long as the Altima exists, we know who to avoid.
There’s always the Rouge
The Talltima
I agree, what would the bad drivers move to next? We’d have years of chaos, at least this chaos is a little familiar.
Yeah we do... Teslas (in general, Model 3 in particular)
Don’t worry. The Grim Reaper will have plenty of work with an extra year of Altimas hitting the streets.
We should have one called “SAltima”, or the dreaded “cruster buster”.
The Sexual Assaultima???
BAE big Altima energy over death
