They really just cannot catch a break, can they? And I heard a baby died from the cold. It's awful to think of all these children freezing cold in their beds because all their real shelters have been destroyed by Israel. Tents are not enough. Israelis should be in there, rebuilding. Of course, Palestinians are left to their own devices to take care of it themselves.
Three children have frozen to death. Israel should leave Palestine and return to the European nations they originated from. The situation is so bad, I don't have the will to post anything today. Children are digging trenches to protect their tents. It's pure suffering caused by pure evil.
Yeah it's so awful, it hurts my soul. I was posting about it for a long time, and I had to take a step back, because of some health concerns with my husband, and while I could probably come back to it now, it's just so painful, having to do hours of searching through the worst, saddest, most shockingly horrible stories day after day. But then I think "how can I possibly be complaining about having to watch too much of what they go through when they are actually going through it." They don't get to take a break, they don't get to stop, have a good cry, and try to distract themselves with something else. For them its just pain and misery, day in and day out, hunger, cold, sickness, bombs, disease, rain, thirst, etc etc etc forever.
That said, if you feel yourself getting burned out, you should take those breaks or you will hit a wall. You are no good to anyone if you are not taking care of yourself, and it seems you are doing just that- I'm very glad. We will be here for when you post again. Thank you for posting to the sub. We may be delisted and not hitting the front page like we used to, but at least we have our dedicated people who read the posts here and who really care, but our posters are the ones that give us a sub to begin with, so I do really appreciate you. π€

Thank you. I hope your husband is doing well. π
I am a bit burned out but have backup for the charities I work with.
We all need a breath or weβre no good to anybody.
I appreciate your kindness and compassion and may we both pray for the freedom and peace of the beautiful people of Palestine. π€
