Last time I smoked was September 16 and my test is on January 5th. I’m also black and have curly hair so let me know if that changes anything. My hair isn’t low low but I’m not sure if it’s 1.5 inches. I’ve been letting it grow out for like a month
That's cutting it kinda close, they say usually 6 months (depending on how much you smoked) to get clean for a hair follicle test. They do have special shampoos you can buy to try and pass, however I personally have never used them so I don't know how well they work. I wish you lots of luck!
Depends on if they take head or body hair. Body hair goes back much further. Had to remove all mine to pass since I had a buzzcut and smoke some months prior.
What I'm hearing from new hires, they're a little more lenient on it. As long as you aren't a chronic user, you should be fine if your last time was several months ago. Just don't smoke any more until you take the test
From what I’ve heard, the ~90 days is based on the fact that it takes about a month for .5 inches of hair to grow and they supposedly test the 1.5 inches closest to the scalp. My test is February 2nd and my last time was oct 20th so that’s just based off everything I’ve been able to find

It might be now, I was always told back in the day(5ish+ years ago?) 6 months, a year to be extra safe.

Cant tell you tbh, don't want to give false hope. Maybe try some of that detox shampoo just in case.

My hair is 1.4 inches as of today but it should be just on the 1.5 mark on January 5th

If you were a regular user before stopping. Odds are kind of slim. If you were clean before and just used once. You should be good after about 3months
