Hi! First time homebuyer here looking for some honest input on the Cliveden/Green Acres Neighborhood area of NN (right around Richneck Elementary)! Late 20s couple, no kids, just looking for a nice neighborhood off the main roads. It seemed really cute driving through but my main concern anytime we move is safety. What do you all think? Recommend the area, or not the best? Thank y’all!
I live in that general area. It’s totally fine and quiet. I feel safe walking around the neighborhood and adjoining neighborhoods as a mid-30s woman. It connects to Windsor great park, colony pines, and Huntington if you like to walk further.
I like being close to all the Jefferson businesses— Trader Joe’s, food lion, Lowe’s, riverside gym, tous le jours, etc.
If you have any questions feel free to DM me.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your input! :)
That's not a bad area at all. Also look in the Menchville area and Hidenwood around the university. Beechmont isn't bad either the further you get away from Warwick.
Thank you for the input!!
Menchville is a great area, stoney 4un is also
Come to Williamsburg. We have cookies.
That’s where we are right now and I love it BUT it’s so hard to find an affordable house 😭
Yes it is lol. Lots of Newport News is fine I grew up there
